[Akiko-infinity]

Thrushpaw was looking at the sky, wondering how this months' gathering would go. Would he finally be allowed to attend? He sincerely hoped so. Finishing off his dinner, he decided to go check up on the kits. Some of them were old enough to become apprentices, and he was glad that there was plenty of room in the apprentices' den. Spotting the kits asleep, he purred, deciding not to wake them.

Midnightkit woke to a feeling. She woke up and sat up, realizing one of the other cats, Thrushpaw she think his name was, was watching them. She backed up into the deeper shadows and watched the sky, waiting for the clouds to clear and the moon to show.

Sharpclaw nodded "Warpaw is Warstorm now?Good for him," and followed Kindlestar then she smelled Warstorm's scent "One moment I think I found Warpaw I mean Warstorm" then Sharpclaw walked into the direction that she smelled Warstorm. Sharpclaw sat down next to Warstorm who was looking into the Firepond. Warstorm saw Sharpclaws reflection in the water and happily jumped onto his paws "Your back!" Sharpclaw noded purring then the two of them ran back to where Sharpclaw left Kindlestar.

Kindlestar entered camp and saw Dawnlight coming in as well shortly afterwards. She noticed the sun was setting, and she wished for the new kits to become a part of the apprentice's den. She saw Duskwind nearby and decided to speak to her first.

"Duskwind, a word with you?" she mewed, nodding her head at Smilekit in greeting as she saw him sharing a meal with Duskwind.

Dawnlight entered and saw Sharpclaw entering with Warstorm. "What are you doing here?" he sniffed, glaring at the cat he considered a traitor up and down.

Lightningkit woke up awhile after Midnightkit, noticing she's awake. He tried to talk to her, but he was exhausted and his voice was not as energetic as it usually is.

"Hey, Midnightkit...what are you doing up before me? I thought I'd be up before you."

Thrushpaw turned around when he heard cats entering the camp. He spotted Dawnlight, then the long absent Sharpclaw. Thrushpaw had been very little when the warrior had left, but he knew him instantly. He saw Dawnlight look angry, and decided that maybe he needed a reason to stay calm. Thrushpaw walked away from the kits, heading towards Dawnlight and the others. He sat next to Dawnlight, looking curiously at Sharpclaw.


Firesong poked her head out of her den to spot Sharpclaw walk into camp. She purred knowingly. She knew the warrior would come back eventually. She sensed the tension in the air and hoped no fights would break out. She needed to go herb collecting, but decided to wait to make sure no one would need to be treated first.

Midnightkit jumped at the sound of his voice. "Oh! Yeah, but I had a hard time sleeping tonight." She answered.  

[Blitz Prower]

Lightningkit licked her sleepily betwwen the ears. "I'm just glad I was able to sleep, since normally I can't." He looked around camp, with his head still on his paws, while he was barely able to keep his eyes open. He looked at Midnightkit, thinking and spoke again in a exhausted tone.

"Was there a certain reason you couldn't sleep?"

Midnightkit looked up at the stars. "Three Moons since I first came to camp, three moons since my mother died. "She told him and then looked back at Lightningkit. "I won't let her down."

Lightningkit nodded and licked her in between her ears again. "I understand...my mother died as well, a little while after I was born. I think she died of greencough...I don't remember." He looked up at the stars, and a tear fell from his eye.

Midnightkit wrapped her tail around him, trying to comfort him. "I'm sorry to hear that." She told him, for once showing kind emotion in her voice and truly caring.  

[Blitz Prower]

"Thanks..." He said with a few tears falling from his eyes, but still a little sleepily. He puts his face into his paws since he didn't want anyone to see him crying. He thought he looked weak and had to look more presentable, otherwise he would be a disgrace to the clan.

"I wish she was here so she would be able to see me get apprenticed..." He said weakly.

Midnightkit moved her paw underneath his head to push it up. "She is, so is mine. If there is one thing I learned from coming here it's that they are always watching us in Starclan." She told him as she looked up to Silverpelt. When she looked back down she looked at him. "And she'll be proud of you."  

[Blitz Prower]

He looked up at Silverpelt, and then glanced at Midnightkit. "Yeah, you're right." *He used his paws to wipe away his tears and he sait up. "Well, I think Kindlestar just returned into camp, so do you wanna go see what's going on?"

Duskwind gave a questioning look as she saw Sharpclaw enter the camp, but stayed silent and told Smilekit to go to the nursery. Duskwind then turned her attention to Kindlestar, "So, I guess something happened on the way back."

Smilekit headed towards the nursery, but as soon as Duskwind looked away he bounded towards Midnightkit and Lightningkit. "Hey guys, do you know who that strange cat is?" he whispered, his tail pointing in the direction of Sharpclaw.
