Kindlestar purred. "I suppose so. But the kits always take to me. I suppose it is over the fact I am as small as the apprentices," she noted, licking her chest comfortably.

"How have you been? Things have been quiet."

(hmm is anyone going to get Sharpclaw? I'd do it but it wouldn't make sense after i said i was going to watch Smilekit like a hawk....)

"Well I have secret moves!" Smilekit said defensively while keeping his eyes on his opponent.

(Edit: OHOH i had an idea what if Smilekit snuck out of camp and Duskwind went to go look for Smilekit and Smilekit found you! Good?)

((My problem is that it currently makes no sense for Kindlestar to get out of camp. And Dawnlight is at the training hollow. What I would like to know is why the heck is Sharpclaw just waiting to be found? Can't she just walk back to camp if she wants to inform us of something. Of course, she is a rouge now... sweatdrop ))

Firesong purred. "Maybe." She looked thoughtful. "Yes, it has been quiet. I'm glad. It would be hard to deal with alot of injuries with only me. I guess I'll need to take another apprentice soon."

((That was me trying to find reasoning behind why she won't get back in. xd ))

Kindlestar nodded. She wondered who it could be.

"I was thinking of heading out to MoonClan... maybe with Dawnlight. The last Gathering came and went, and none of the other Clans showed up... I think it best to start by MoonClan..." she muttered, thinking of how the prophesy warned of the Moon.

Firesong licked one paw thoughtfully. "You'll have to be careful. You don't want to be mistaken for an attack party. If the other clans are in trouble, they may be especially jumpy." She knew Kindlestar was thinking of the prophesy. "The first part has not yet been fulfilled. I hope we can keep it that way..."

Warstorm walked around camp

Sharpclaw stared at the territory in front of her but stayed put outside the boarder.

"I'm sure you do..." Midnightkit told him, as she just sat down where she was, her eyes locked with his.

((Yeah, I figured as much. 3nodding ))

Kindlestar nodded. "That is why I plan on taking a small party. Hmmm... maybe a less aggressive cat?" she mewed thoughtfully, knowing Dawnlight would be pressing for a fight.

Warstorm walked out of camp and out of the camps earshot were he lept at a tree that he viciously clawed at. After most of the bark from the tree where he was attacking was gone he stood in front of it head down How could she be gone for this long?She can't be dead

Sharpclaw waited patiently for a patrol.

Firesong thought. "You could take Duskwind, but she may not want to be away from Smilekit just yet...Warstorm is still upset about Sharpclaw, hm...perhaps one of the apprentices?"

Warstorm began to hit the tree again.

Sharpclaw remained at the boarder and started to pull up some of the grass with one of her claws.

"You are correct... Hmmm... Maybe Thrushpaw would do nicely. He seems to be learning, and Dawnlight seems pleased with him despite his behavior."

At this, Kindlestar got up. "In any case, I will do a small patrol. I need to clear my head, and maybe catch some prey along the way," she mewed, bowing her head at Firesong.

Kindlestar left the camp and trudged along the sandy landscape. She ran with ease along the border that divided their land from Twolegplace. After a while of looking around for anything out of place, a familiar scent, slightly changed by time came to her nose. She flattened her ears as she followed the scent, keeping low to the ground.

Not long after, she saw the familiar ginger tabby coat of Sharpclaw. The she cat seemed to be wondering whether to cross into the border or not. Kindlestar flicked her tail and padded towards her, leaving some distance between them.

"Sharpclaw?" she asked, half in defensive tone and half in welcome.

Smilekit stopped circling and tilted his head to the left. "Are you going to play or go lurk in the shadows?"

Sharpclaw looked up from the ground suddenly when she heard her name "Greeting Kindlestar," Sharpclaw said after some thought about how to greet her former leader. "Hows the prey been?" Sharpclaw tried to make a conversation.

Warstorm continued to attack the tree
