EternalHearts Nuri, i took a hookey day too. But mine was very full; I went into Boston for an info session about Grad School, then got all mixed up trying to get to BC to see my girlfriend for dinner (you can't turn around at most of our subway stations!). I came home around 7 and have just been sitting around since.
I did a bit too. Besides filling out paperwork, I went to the library, I did dishes (I don't usually do those), did the prep work for dinner (stir fry, num!) and I think I've pounded out about 500 words today for my sci-fi stories. And I spent actual quality time with Nick.
Okay, granted, part of that was because his blood sugar was 53, and when he's waiting for it to go up, I like to be around. But we were talking and being happy, and not talking about how little money is in the bank account.
And hopefully, my hip will recover enough that work and drills class won't suck tomorrow.

TeaDidikai BlueRoseTorn It is 12:30, and I can still hear my neighbour's music through the walls. I just hope they don't turn it off before the cops show up. twisted How did that turn out? Patch>> It's a documentary on Chinese tea production.
The music very abruptly stopped at about 12:45 (Isaac and I were kind of enjoying at the one lady's miserable attempts at karaoke through the wall). I peeked out the window a few minutes later and saw a patrol car drive off. MWA HA HA.
