"Feeling better, thank StarClan," she answered, dipping her head. She was about to ask her how was she feeling herself when Duskwind mentioned Midnightkit.

"You always had an eye out for your surroundings. She is alright... a bit gloomy and secretive, but she has her paws on the ground. I was just telling her how she will be apprenticed soon," she answered, licking one paw and passing it over her muzzle.

Midnightkit watched as Kindlestar went off to go talk to another cat. She flicked her ear once and walked out of the shadows, keeping her head down. Midnightkit walked up to Smilekit, "Hi...." She managed to say.

Caramelkit sat down, licking her shoulder tenderly.
When she was done she looked up, her eyes bright.
'Just a little bit longer until i'm an apprentice' she rejoiced silently, her ears twitching as she picked up the sound from the beetle she had been tormenting earlier.

"Well, a lot has happened to her, but I'm sure that she'll come out of her shell once she makes some new friends." Duskwind mused.

"Hi Midnightkit! What goes on?" Smilekit squeaked, sometimes he could be a bit over the top with his optimism.

Midnightkit seemed a bit surprised at his voice, how happy he seemed to be. "Another boring day..." She wiped a paw over one of her ears. "And you?"

Kindlestar purred in amusement. "I certainly hope so... She isn't a bad kit, just too antisocial for Clan life. You must share with others, and learn to socialize, after all, if we didn't, we would be no better than rouges now would we?" she mused, her yellow eyes scanning the two kits as they spoke.

"Who knows, maybe Smilekit can manage to make her open up a little. StarClan knows even Dawnlight likes him," she purred, her whiskers twitching.

Duskwind laughed as she followed Kindlestar's gaze. "He does make it hard for cats to dislike him. Although he needs to learn to control his energy."

"I'm good. But today doesn't have to be boring, Midnightkit!" Smilekit jumped from a sitting position and landed on all four paws. "You just have to find the fun in it. Ummm it's like hunting!" he mewed as he dropped into a hunter's crouch.

Midnightkit purred and also went into a hunter's crouch, "And I can find my prey." She said

Kindlestar's eyes gleamed at this. "Oh he will turn out fine. I remember I couldn't keep still as a kit or as an apprentice. Enthusiasm is a good thing. It means eagerness to learn," she mewed, nodding as she saw Midnightkit get on a hunter's crouch and purr.

Midnightkit pounced onto Smilekit, "You will be my prey!" She said as she did so. But then she got off, "Hm..your right. The day can be fun"

"Yes I agree energy and eagerness is important, but...oh I don't know it's just that with eagerness comes a mischievous personality." sighed Duskwind, she hoped Smilekit would never do anything that she did when she was an eager high-energy kit, which included sneaking out.

"Ahhh!" Smilekit mewed in surprised and licked his raised fur flat. "Yeah well I wasn't expecting the fun to include hunting me!" purred Smilekit.
