((I would mostly recommend you making Sun appear again. Make it as though Kindlestar let him go, mostly because she was too preocupied with the sick and hungry Clan. 3nodding Make him come back for something involving the Moon lady.

However, before you do, I want to make sure everybody is okay with this plot, so if anyone has something against it, let me know okay? It can be via PM if you feel uncomfortable posting here. ninja

Kindlestar's glance darkened as she eyed the kit. There was something about her she had not liked since she had invited her to join the Clan. However, she couldn't just let the kit starve to death in the middle of leaf bare.

"Well, you are six moons old, so soon you will be mentored," she mewed, then turned her gaze to the rest of the camp activity, her ears flattened a little as she wondered who she could pick to mentor the young kit, as she promised to be as thickheaded as Dawnlight.

She considered Blazewhisper, as the deputy had done a good job with the rowdy warrior, but realized that this kit was not the kind she could give to the impatient tom.

Dawnlight looked at Duskwind and nodded. "Me neither. Thorn-" he started, then stopped at mid-name, and quickly looked towards the playing kits. "Never mind... I have to get going... I promised Thrushpaw we would work on his fighting techniques..." he grumbled, getting up and padding towards the entrance of the camp to wait for his apprentice.

Midnightkit licked her fur once and then turned back to Kindlestar. "sounds fun." She started, "But may I ask who will be my mentor?"

Kindlestar shook her head. "I am not sure yet. FireClan needs warriors as it is, so there aren't many available," she mused, more to herself than to Midnightkit.

Midnightkit thought for a moment, "Maybe you can be my mentor?" She suggested.

(wait who's Thorn- ? because it would make sense for my character to know...)

((Thorngaze, Dawnlight's littermate. They were really close in the rp. The user kinda quit though. He was the medicine cat apprentice. 3nodding ))

Kindlestar looked down at the black kit and purred in amusement. "Leaders don't tend to take on apprentices due to our constant need to supervise on all of the needs of the Clan," she answered, but her ears swiveled in consideration none the less.

Midnightkit looked down, she didn't know that so all she said was, "Oh."

{SO SORRY I'VE BEEN GONE!! Guh...exams, research papers, and class scheduling is a pain...}

Thushpaw woke up late for the first time since he'd been a kit. He leapt up, shaking off his sleep with a yawn. Giving his ear a few swipes with a licked paw, he bounded out of the apprentice's den. Spotting Dawnlight by the entrance, he padded over hurriedly. "Sorry I'm late Dawnlight. So, I'm gonna learn to fight today, right?"


Firesong sighed happily as the camp was bathed in Newleaf sunlight. She was laying in a convenient patch of sunlight just outside of the medicine cat den. She was glad that there were fewer problems now that leafbare had passed. She still felt a twinge of worry as she thought about the prophecy. Time was passing, and that meant the the fulfilling of the prophecy was looming closer. If only she knew what it meant!

Duskwind watched as Dawnlight left, she sighed and looked at her paws. She didn't mean to make him sad, she knew how close Thorngaze and he were.

Kindlestar looked down at her and twitched her whiskers.

"Well... I guess I could make an exception however. After all, my mentoring skills might just be starting to need some polishing again."

Dawnlight looked up and saw Thrushpaw rushing over towards him, his fur half tussled, as though if he had rushed over his grooming.

"Yes. Let's go over to the training hollow, shall we?" he snarled, getting up and flicking his tail in annoyance as he headed out the entrance of the camp.

(wait i just had a thought what signifigance does Moon play? isn't the moon in the prophecy supposed to be MoonClan? confused )

Midnightkit looked up at the Fireclan leader. Her eyes, for once, showed happiness.

Thrushpaw didn't allow his disappointment over his mentor's annoyance to show. Instead, he just padded along beside Dawnlight, following the warrior to the training hollow.

((Mmmhmmm. Flamewind kinda took over the thing without discussing. sweatdrop That is why I am saying that if anyone has any problems with this and would rather have the prophesy mean something else other than the sibling rivalry of Sun and Moon, speak up. 3nodding ))

Kindlestar noticed the happy look on Midnightkit and she gave an inner sigh of relief.

At least she looks peppy about it. She actually seems like a kit about to turn into an apprentice she thought with a purr.

"Well, this cat has some to do today, so I shall leave you to it. Try to have some fun. It never killed any kit. Who knows, you might even teach these younger kits a trick or two," she mewed, getting up and padding towards Duskwind, knowing that her mentor had given birth to a kit, and curious as to how life in the nursery was treating her.

(i like the idea of Sun being a cat it's just Moon being a cat doesnt make sense. How about Sun accidentally killing a cat and on the subject of killing the cat, has Sparrowpaw answered about still using her character?)

Duskwind saw as Kindlestar padded towards her and shook off her worry of Dawnlight. "How are you Kindlestar? I noticed that you were talking to Midnightkit, how is the kit?"

Smilekit pounced around pretending he was out in the desert hunting rabbits and lizards.
