Meromictic Sir Black Tea Isn't the show kind of irrelevant now that the judges can't say anything mean? That's true. I can't even remember who won last year. xd Oh wait. They just said the name. Scotty? lmao Sounds like a dogs name. And just because the judges can't say mean things, doesn't mean I can't. ninja But yeah. I don't see the reason behind the show anymore. A lot of the winners seem to fade out after awhile. Its like they can sing but they really don't have the motivation or the business skills to move forward. Only one that got really famous was Kelly Clarkson and even then she's not ultra famous. And that was like season 1 or something.

bedsick i always need more wine i can never get tipsy enough it's helping my migraine, regular aspirin won't cut it so. . . *wonders if shoving head through wall would hurt less*

American Idol is first and foremost a show. Their main priority is to get TV ratings...whatever happens with the winning singer later is up to the wind~~~!! That is so true. A singer without a musical background (to produce their own music) is pretty much dead after they get out that 1 idol album. Plus dont' they have to go touring with the rest of the Idol singers for 1 year? What a wasted opportunity to capitalize on their Idol fame.

I guess if there was a way to work on an album while touring or w/e. I dunno. It must really suck. Isn't Carrie Underwood popular in the country music area? I dunno. o.o;
