Thrushpaw slowly gathered his squirrel, not wanting to make any sudden movement. He began to backtrack, hoping to make his way out of adder territory. He was still in sight of the dead adder when he heard movement behind him. His fur stood up as he spun around, hissing ferociously to whatever was behind him.

Dawnlight hissed back in shock and reared, ready to attack, only to realize that Thrushpaw was right where he was ready to land.

He flattened his ears and dropped back to his four paws, then looked at the apprentice. "Are you alright?" he snarled, genuine concern in his voice despite the harshness.

Thrushpaw sighed deeply. "Yeah, I've just never seen an adder before..." He looked over his shoulder to the snake's body, suppressing a shudder.

Dawnlight's tail flicked but he remained quiet. "Adders are dangerous. Almost as much as twolegs, even for an experienced warrior. Let's go back to camp," he muttered, licking Thrushpaw between the ears to reassure him.

Blazewhisper and waterflower found dawnlight and Thurshpaw the stopped. "what happened?!" he asked.

(I might kill one of those annoying kits....lolz. Okay, we'll think of something, so don't worry too much. and as much as I hate to put him on the spot, don't forget Dawnlight. Let's see what happens at the gathering. Maybe we'll get some ideas.)

Solidheart pushed his way into the medicine cat den. The two voles swung back and forth. "Morningwind. . " he muttered, heading over to her nest. He dropped a vole in front of her sleeping body. "Make sure she eats it when she wakes up." He growled looking over at Lionkit. With that he turned away and stomped out of the den.

Badgerkit was about to kick Emptykit off when the wind changed. "It's him" Badgerkit growled bitterly turning his head as Solidheart came out of the medicine cat den.
Emptykit slid off of Badgerkit. "He still avoids us doesn't he"
Badgerkit flicked his head away with a tisk. "I don't like him, even if he is our father, i don't like him."

( OH IM SORRY FORGET WHAT I PUT THEN! JUST WATERFLOWER LEFT THEN IM SO KIDNY! ILL PICK IT UP FROM KIDLNESTARS POST!) Blazewhisper woke up to see kindlestar pretty face. Still dazed he lean up and lightly kissed her. "angel....." he muttured

((Well, I was going from the fact that Blazewhisper was also looking a little worried, so I'll just take it as though I woke you up from your worried sleep? xd ))

Kindlestar flicked her ear in embarrassment and looked around. She noticed no one was looking at them so she relaxed a little. She twirled her head back to look down at the lying Blazewhisper and licked his ear. "Are you alright?" she asked him again, remembering the look on his face. Seeing him looking so relaxed now however made her think that maybe he had just been having a nightmare.

Dawnlight looked back and saw Waterflower behind them. "Waterflower? What are you doing here?" he asked the female warrior, his ears flattened as he looked around for any sign of an adder.

((Ending leaf bare shortly, and Kindlestar is recovering from greencough. Other than that, most have been quite inactive as of late with the exception of Firesong and Blazewhisper.... and of course the unmentionable kits of doom and evil. xd ))

Midnightkit wandered around camp. She wondered how kits could survive so long with nothing to do.
