[Kitsune Thistletree]

Kindlestar waited for the Clan to stop calling out the kits name and signaled for her to go down. Once Midnightkit had gone down from the rock, she cleared her throat to continue.

"I would like to also give our two oldest apprentices their warrior names. Waterpaw and Warpaw, please step forward."

Dawnlight looked towards them in interest. Warpaw was older than he was and Waterpaw had been made apprentice a little after himself. It would be interesting to share a den with them again.

Midnightkit jumped down the rock and walked into the clearing.

Waterpaw walked up to frierock.

Kindlestar looked down at Waterpaw and nodded.

"Waterpaw, you have trained for a long time, and have proven yourself as a warrior. Like the gentle petals float in water, you carry yourself around others. Never inspiring fights and letting the current carry you to your destination. From this day on, you leave your apprentice name and we welcome you as Waterflower," she yowled.

"Waterflower! Waterflower!" Dawnlight yowled.

[I don't know how many times I've posted with Powderkit, but I can just start over again. Sorry I have been M.I.A.]

φowderkit ran up to the new kit. "Hi Midnightkit! My name is Powderkit, welcome to FireClan. We're gonna have so much fun being den-mates!" The she-kit was almost bursting out of her fur from excitement. Having another kit in the Clan was just what she wanted. The more friends to play with, the better!

((If I am not mistaken Powderkit is a secondary character for you yes? If that is the case, you can ask to have her be apprentice at any time mentors are available. 3nodding I think that right now Blazewhisper and Flamewind are the only available mentors though, as Kindlestar is too sick to take on an apprentice.

Also, I have a reminder for you all. I will be doing an update of the FireClan member list, so those of you who have usernames that do not match your current one please leave a response in the introduction thread so that I can update your profile. ninja ))

Kindlestar looked over at Warpaw and nodded at him. "Warpaw, you have been in training for a long time. You are loyal to your Clan, but have no skills in teamwork or thinking things thoroughly. You storm through without thinking things twice. While this has been good for some things, in other accounts it has led you to trouble, and having your Clanmates not trust you for when it matters. I can only hope that as a warrior, you will finally be able to see things more clearly. For these reasons, your warrior name will be Warstorm. May StarClan guide your pawsteps from now on."

"Warstorm! Warstorm!" Dawnlight called, with much less enthusiasm than he had for Waterflower.

Midnightkit looked at Powderkit. She smiled. " Thanks and I hope so" she said

Waterflower cryed sliently and sat her vigily with warstrom

Kindlestar woke up in her den, her pelt covered with snow and her body feeling weaker than it had the day before. She flattened her ears as a raking cough took her over and she shifted in her nest, closing her eyes again and hoping that all she needed was a little more of rest.

Dawnlight yawned as he woke up, surrounded by the other warriors. He got outside and he realized it was dawn. Waterflower and Warstorm were still in vigil, and they looked tired.

"You two look like you had a harsh night. Must be fun... having to hold on to that cold air all night," he sneered, his tail flicking with contempt.

Waterflower did nothing but flop on the floor face frist and here belly growled.
"It wasnt...........nothing......." she growled  

[Kitsune Thistletree]

Dawnlight's whiskers twitched. "You two better get some food and rest. We are still at leaf bare. Now that you are warriors, best get the rest while you still can," he sneered, then padded away towards the fresh kill pile himself, wondering if there was anything left for breakfast.

"There is only a vole inside..." he grumbled under his breath, the sighed and padded off, wondering if he should wake up Thrushpaw to go hunting.

Thrushpaw yawned, moving from his den to check on the new warriors. Dawnlight just told them to get some rest, and it looked like they needed it. He glenced at the fresh-kill pile and shook his head, not even bothering to get anything. It was almost empty anyway. He looked around and spotted Dawnlight, wondering if they should go hunting. "Hey Dawnlight! I've got an idea!"


Firesong mixed up a batch of medicine, distributing it around wearily. She gave a dose to Kindlestar, noting that the new warriors looked as exausted as she'd been feeling lately. "How are you holding up, Kindlestar?"

Dawnlight looked up at his apprentice as he came bounding towards him. "An idea huh? Well, StarClan knows I am not much of a thinker, so let's have it," he growled in his usual tone, his whiskers twitching at what Thrushpaw had to say.

Kindlestar looked up at Firesong and sighed. "Better than you from the looks of it. You look exhausted..." she coughed, laying her head down again between her paws.

Waterflower headed over to the the fersh kill pal and took the last vole and share it with warstrom.

φowderkit smiled, "Okay, well I'll see you later in the nursery." She chirped, then bounded off towards the nursery.

"I've got you now." Powderkit whispered with a grin. She'd been following a butterfly around camp, and now it's finally landed a couple tail-lengths away. The fluffy white kit raised her haunches high in the air, wiggling her tail with excitement. She twitched her whiskers as a cold breeze swept up from behind her, chilling her to the bone. And just like the that, the butterfly was in flight again.

Powderkit was quick to react though, and leaped through the air like a hawk and landed face first in the snow. For a second she sat with her head buried in the white powder, but as the cold began to settle in again, she pulled her fuzzy head out of the snow. She grew hot with embarrassment, almost hot enough to melt the snow that was still lying on her nose and forehead.

As she sneezed, her body lifted up ever so slightly and the butterfly she had been chasing slipped out from underneath her. As it fluttered away with a slightly gimped wing, Powderkit couldn't help but smile feeling some sort of accomplishment.
