Kindlestar blinked warmly up at Blazewhisper and then looked again at the camp. Firesong was taking a long time, and she wanted to get the ceremony over with. "I need to gather the cats. Let me go speak to Midnight before. Get Warpaw and Waterpaw ready as well. I think it is time to make them into warriors," she mewed, getting up grudgingly and looking up at him, her yellow eyes tired.

Midnight heard talking and dreamed of her mother and her having fun. But then she had to wake up in the middle. She sighed and stretched.

Blazewhisper nodded his head and was off to go get the two cats. "Warpaw! waterpaw! come here!" he meowed

tigerkit was laying in the nuersery entrance. Her dark fur shone in the sunlight as did her amber eyes. She watched all camotion

Kindlestar stood outside of the nursery, afraid of going into the enclosed place and spreading the disease further. Instead, she called in from outside.

"Midnight?" she yowled, trying to peer inside a little without her head having to go inside.

Midnight jumped a little at the sound of her name but padded outside and saw Kindlestar. She looked at the leader.

The small leader looked down at the kit and flicked her ear. She noticed that unlike most other kits, this one remained quiet when called. She must still be a little shy around the older Clan cats... she guessed, her whiskers twitching in thought.

"There will be a ceremony held soon to introduce you to the Clan and to give two apprentices their warrior names. You should feel honored, kits don't tend to presence any ceremonies until they are apprentices themselves. I expect you will be very questioned by your denmates afterwards. When I present you, I will give you your new name," she mewed. "Wait for me under the Fire Rock. It is that one, the one that protrudes high over the ground," she added, signaling with her muzzle towards the rock where she usually stood to address her warriors. "Don't climb it though. Just stand below it."

New name Midnight thought. She already knew she had to give up her old life to become part of the clan, but it still hurt a little. But she nodded. "Okay" She said not knowing what else to say.

Firsong nodded to Leroy. "I'd love to come see her. Unfortunately, I've got to get this catmint back to the clan and bind a silly kit's leg and my apprentice has decided to take a vacation. Please tell Sharpclaw that I'll come back by soon, if she wants to chat. And tell her that fireclan is still her home..." With that, Firesong turned and headed back. She'd been gone for far too long, and needed to return.

She got to the camp entrance quickly and slipped inside, dropping off her catmint before grabbing a few items. She headed to the elders den where Tigerkit was, and quickly bound her leg. "You should be able to walk on it a little, but don't strain yourself. You shouldn't be out of camp for a while."

Kindlestar nodded at Midnight and then headed towards Blazewhisper. "Are the two apprentices ready?" she meowed, knowing that Warpaw could be difficult to handle from all of Dawnlight's complaints of him.

((Tis okay. 3nodding As long as you don't run off on us like Thorngaze did. gonk I am really thinking of doing an update on the member list so that a new person can make an apprentice again if they qualify. sweatdrop ))

Dawnlight nodded and took a bite of the rabbit. "I know. However, it wouldn't hurt him. FireClan warriors are always teased at Gatherings for their puny size, Blazewhisper and me being the exception. I don't know how to teach him how to fight if he doesn't have the size advantage," he mused, looking over to where Thrushpaw was at.

"FireClan cats are small because we are built for speed. Which is why we eat rabbits, we're fast enough to catch them." Duskwind mewed in between bites. "Thrushpaw doesn't have a size advantage but he does have a speed advantage."

Badgerkit's ear twitched as he heard Midnight being called for by Kindlestar. "uhhh. . . " he groaned rolling over.
Emptykit's eyes flashed open as she felt Badgerkit roll on top of her. "Heavy!!" she squealed un-happily. "Badgerkit you mouse-brain! Get off of me!!"

Dawnlight mused at this. "Guess that I am the one at a disadvantage here," he growled, his eyes gleaming with laughter.

LeRoy said bye to Firesong and went back to his garden.

Sharpclaw walked around the woods and gathered moss for a bed
