meekstape real talk for a sec, before i moved to morth carolina i had no idea that a resturant chain called golden corral even existed then i wentto one and i was like this is is so southern and trashy ugh i am never coming here again oh god why did you go there... I mean, even the name sounds...southern and trashy.

For me the golden corral where I went in Missouri wasn't that bad though, it was the last restaurant we went to when my grandpa on my mom's side was still alive. My grandmother liked that place, even though my family's originally from California.

Yeah, Golden Corral is pretty bad, though alas, it is not really a Southern thing so much as a everything between the two coats thing. Like, when the only selling point you can put in your commercials is that you have a chocolate fountain, that's pretty sad. I am all for trashy gross food, but it has to be good trashy gross food.

Jayce: I saw that and was like "do not want" from how that looked. I mean I remember my ex-boyfriend for Valentines day gave me chocolate-covered marshmallows, strawberries and a cookie made of peanut butter, dipped in a chocolate fountain in HyVee before we broke up, but that thing....>.< It just looks wrong. I wonder if the chocolate fountain at Hy-Vee was bigger than that?

my mom and grandmom didn't know what golden corral was when we got one, so we went there for my birthday last year when I visited home. It was the *~*~biggest*~*~*thing in our hometown.
I went to the salad bar, sat down, and there were ladybugs in my romaine mix. gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk gonk
we ended up getting a full refund and we went to my favorite hibachi place instead, but my mom didn't eat any of the sushi she order because she was so grossed out. xd

The Undead Suitor who the ******** goes to golden corral thats like the poor old people restaurant, you know, as opposed to the old people with money restaurant cracker barrel I dated and older man from the South and he was obsessed with the freakin cracker barrel, ewww. Biscuits and gravy *barf*
