Oh yes it is! I will not be doing that for a while, though. *snf* Pain meds + drinks = bad news.

I am totally gallbladder-less now. Wheee.

Does it effect the attunement at all?
Yep.
The Reiki directs towards pushing out the toxins over the attunement.

BlueRoseTorn

Hubby or cat? xd
Nana.

Water and toast for me all day. Isaac graciously decided to share his stomach virus with me.
Sign of a quality relationship.

Cuchullain

My mam requires a strict no-red meat no junk food diet for a week before the attunement.
I say protein light, organic if possible and pumping LOTS of water for a day plus before the attunement.

She has also point-blanke refused attunements to people on nothing more than instinct, though, when they first ask her. She runs a hotel so unless she gets a good feeling about them she doesn't do them.
More than reasonable in my opinion. It holds true for my tradition as well.

Quote:
When I'm better, she'll be doing my Reiki 2. She refused me because of my wicked temper. Until I got it under control, she figured it'd be too dangerous.
Are you up for explaining this? I know of traditions that have other positions on such a case, unless there is something I am unaware of.

I'm the exact opposite. I'm always the first out to get sloshed, the first one to blurt out something humiliating, and the first one to pass out. sweatdrop

...Which is why I don't drink heavily anymore.

Aww that sucks. My mom and I can go until everyone else is sloshed, and still be thinking clearly enough to keep everyone else out of trouble. Its probably a combination of my being big and possably being French. We figure they've been drinking for so long they must have a small immunity to alcohol. We have no idea of this is true, but its funny. It certainly isn't the N. American or African-American though xd

I can hold it well too xD

But I don't really drink outside of ritual (yeah, I'm square). Not to the point of being out of it anyways.

Eh, I've never been a big drinker. Special occations. Mostly on New Years. Every now and then, because I feel like it with dinner. But, Arbor Mist isn't exactly powerful stuff. I don't drink beer.

So is being the person who knows why that person's bra is hanging from the light fixture.

Lots of snow outside, somewhere near a foot I think. Supposedly the Department of Transportation ran out of salt to put on the streets, so they resorted to sand. Of course, it doesnt look like half of the roads have been paved recently. It looked like one plow was just shaving some of the snow off the top instead of actually clearing the road.

I love winter, but things like this have me waiting for the Spring Thaw.

I miss snow. emo

People put sand out here, too--and not as a last resort, it's "Snow? SAND THE ROADS!" which confuses me. Salt will dissolve, but sand will just make a mess and stay there until it's cleaned up or washed away. Seems...rather silly. confused

Hippy central. Salting the roads damages the environment.

Damn hippies. Salt makes the roads safer. I'd rather be safe and damage the environment a teensy bit.
