"Looking for me? You know I was sent to hunt," Dawnlight growled, helping her get rid of the snow on her fur. "What was so urgent?"

Firesong ran up to the frozen barrier, scratching at it with her paws. There must be another way around this! She frantically signaled for Emptykit to hold on. Running around the side of the nest, she searched for another entrance. She noticed one, about four feet up. A barrier was partway open.(it's a window.) She took a running leap, landing on the edge. As she pulled herself in, her fur stood on end. She was in a twoleg nest. I must have lost it... every instinct in her body told her to run. She slunk inside, trying to stay quiet. The last thing she wanted was for the twolegs to close the barrier she'd gotten in through. She sniffed, cringing at foul smells that assaulted her nose. She scented Emptykit, and slunk along behind Twoleg items standing in the room.(furniture) She found the source of the scent in a strange room with cold floors. "Emptykit!" she hissed as softly as she could, still hiding from the twolegs.

Badgerkit flicked his tail "like i could care less what she does." Badgerkit turned and padded up to Duskwind "shall we get a head start?"

(sorry i havent been on. school stuff ya know?)

"This is supposed to be punishment from running off. You two do not run away. I'm sure Firesong can handle whatever Emptykit is up to." Duskwind ordered as she reluctantly looked in the direction Firesong ran off.

"I---I---I started thinking about something," Creamtail said, her voice really quiet, "and I realized that whatever it was, I knew if I was with you, it'd go away."

Dawnlight felt a prickle along his spine, and his paws shifted with embarrasment.

"O-oh... um, well... I am um, happy to help you get whatever it is out of your mind..." he stammered, looking down as he sat down.

Midnight walked around camp. It's so boring not being able to explore. But I don't want to get in trouble like the rest of the kits

Badgerkit nodded looking down at his paws.
Emptykit could smell Firesong, before she heard her. Emptykit glanced at the bickering two-leggers around her. carefully . . carefully . . Emptykit tried sliding around them. "Where kitty going?" the two-leg kit spoke up. I've been spotted! Emptykit didn't wait for the older two-leggers to react, and sprinted to Firesong. "g-GO!" Emptykit stammered not wanting to look back.

Firesong scooped up Emptykit and bolted, heading toward the barrier. She knew that Emptykit would never be able to make the jump to the barrier herself. She found it again, despite the foul smells, and leapt, barely catching the ledge. She scrambled up over the side, leaping out of the exit.

"Well, I don't remember what it was anymore. Me running out here to find you must have made me forget..." Creamtail looked at Dawnlight. "I guess I just like being with you..."

Dawnlight felt very concious of the fact that Thrushpaw was still with them, and he cleared his throat.

"Feh, that's ridiculous. No one likes being around me. I am bossy and rude, remember?" he snarled, getting up. His ear twitched uncomfortably and he sighed. "We were practicing hunting. You can come along if you like... If it helps you feel better," he added, looking back at her. "Let's go, Thrushpaw."

Creamtail nodded. "I'll come along, you silly!" Under her breath, she mumbled, "Not like I remember why I came out here..."

Emptykit let herself be carried. Her heart still leaping into her throat. Emptykit let out a quiet whimper. "I'm so sorry! Firesong! N-never again! I swear by starclan i will be good for the rest of my life!" Emptykit started to stammer. just don't skin me alive! she added on in her head.

Firesong dashed through twolegplace to the woods, running faster than she ever had before. Finally, she made it to Duskwind. She dropped Emptykit unceremoniously at the warrior's feet. Trembling, her legs buckled underneath her as she panted from exertion. She lay down on the ground, trying to catch her breath. "I'm....getting....to old....to chase after....these kits!"


Thrushpaw looked up at Dawnlight. "I like being around you," he said innocently. He padded forward, his tail lashing. "Maybe we can scare some more prey out from the bushes!"

Dawnlight's whiskers twitched with amusement. "You only like me because I still haven't around to properly training you," he joked. "However, you are right, we should check around the bushes and such. Maybe some lizards are trying to get bugs in there or something."
