After all, she had exhausted her magic energy earlier trying to restore his.
He shook his head.
"I owe you for earlier. This is the least I can do." he said simply, "Please help yourself to them. I will order another set for myself."
He waved the waiter over, and ordered another set.
When it came, he dropped a handful of sugar cubes into his cup of tea, so much that it was almost a cup of sugar instead.
He then gave her a smile.
"I was doing some research on the nearby area." he responded, stirring his tea, "If I may ask, what were you doing, Miss Sal?"║▌│█│║▌║││█║▌│║║█║█║▌│█║▌│║║█ OCC: |

She's fairly honest. In that case... He thought, slightly surprised once again.
"I apologize for my rudeness, Miss Sal." he said, looking her full in the eye, "But, I must say that I'm afraid that the world you have left behind once, is no longer the same."
He paused, taking his spoon and slicing his dessert into three, neat thirds.
"The world as we know it now is divided into three factions; the Lights, Darks, and the Neutrals in between them."
He lowered his voice.
"The Dark Kingdom has expanded over the years, pushing the Light faction into hiding."
Leon pushed one part of the dessert to the edge of the plate, away from the rest.
"The Neutrals, of a considerable size, act as the balance between the two factions. Though their numbers are slowly diminishing, as the members each begin to pick their sides."
He sliced the dessert in the middle in half, pushing one part to the piece on the edge, and one to the remaining slice.
Then, he looked at Sal, his eyes a mixture of different emotions, one of being a silent apology over the extent of information that he withheld.
"I'm afraid I cannot disclose much information to you. Both out of consideration for my faction, and for the fact that I do not know everything there is that you may wish to know. But, I will tell you that if you wish to seek for Mister Lucian, he can be found at the heart of the Dark Kingdom in the lands north of here."
He scooped up the piece of dessert that represented the Darks.
"Though I suggest you go with caution. Even if by any chance, he himself welcomes your visit, others may not."
At that, Leon took out a small piece of parchment and a feather pen, proceeding to scribble something on to it.
He then handed the parchment to her.
"If you leave now, you can arrive there by sunset. I'm sorry that I cannot escort you there personally. Though, this spell will protect you in my place. Please use it when you are faced with an emergency. It is not to be used lightly."
He gave her a smile.
"I hope we will meet again in the future, with much better circumstances."
At that, he watched as the girl left.
Perhaps they will meet again. But, he has a feeling that their next meeting will be much, much later.
In a world much different from now.
Leon brought the spoon to his lips, biting down on the slice of dessert.

✖ Neutral ✖ Farsen opened the doors into the inn and quietly walked in. He looked straight ahead avoiding gazes from the people in the lounge. He did not want trouble, so the best way to avoid it was to mind his own business. Farson eventually made his way to the reception desk to check into a room. It was a long trip and Farsen needed some rest. He double checked to make sure he had enough money for a few nights, and after confirming it he began to check in. "Hi, room for one please." Farsen said in a soft spoken voice, but audible and clear enough for the receptionist to understand. The receptionist wrote a few things down then assigned Farsen a room number and key. So far so good, just a little more and I'll be in the clear Farsen thought to himself as he made his way to his room.
Once in his room Farsen sighed with relief, happy that he did not find any trouble, or in his case trouble didn't find him. He changed into more comfortable clothing and sat in his room for a short while until he decided to go out of his room for a quick bite to eat. Farsen left his room and made sure that it was locked, then continued back towards the inn's lounge. It looked quite packed but luckily Farsen was able to find an empty table took a seat. Soon after, a waiter came by asking him what he would like to drink. "A water is fine, and can I get a menu?" Farsen asked in a more spoken manner. The waiter nodded, left, and returned with a glass of water and a menu. The waiter left again and Farsen sat there looking through the menu.
