Not... yet? But I'm a fan of the cover art on one of the more recent DS games for it.

You have a 3DS? If you do, I recommend you get Awakening. It's bunches of fun. Really, play any FE game that ISN'T the Shadow Dragon remake for the 3DS. You're kind of getting the short end of the stick with that one.

Fire Emblem is one of my favorite series. Awakening is a really, really good installment in the series. The GBA Fire Emblem and its sequel the sacred stones were definitely my favorite, but Awakening brought a lot of cool mechanics, some really good visuals and some cool characters to the table. Still, Eliwood, Hector, Matthew, Kent and Sain... That was really just an incredible game.

Binding Blade was the first Fire Emblem game I ever played. Awakening and Sacred Stones are both great, Awakening especially, but Binding Blade will always hold a special place for me. Coincidentally, Matthew and Sain are two of my favourite characters from the series.

I think my first introduction to the whole genre was when I played Shining Force on an old Genesis that I had dug out from somewhere, from there I was led to try Fire Emblem from Smash Bros. Melee because Roy was always so awesome. He is still (obviously) my favorite character, haha. But yeah, Kent and Sain were a great duo, I love Sain from GBA and I love Vaike from awakening because he reminds me of him even though he's kind of horrible.

the only small problem I have with Awakening is that I tried to replay it once I finished it once, but my characters had been so stupidly powerful by the end of the my first game that I forgot how to play without Donnel and Kjelle wiping up most of the map, lol

E: P.S. I've been poking around looking for a signature banner for this place, but I can't seem to find one. Where can I pick one of those up? mine is getting kind of out of date...

WELL, happy anniversary of being alive!

so I opened up photoshop so I could update my signature with some new neato banners but all I really managed to do was set up some text that was way too big and remember that I'm pretty bad with photoshop.
