Edmond didn't think much of Greta's new costume, nor did he think much of her making a show of herself when she'd been an Immortal for less than a year. As soon as Kortan was out of his sight (gods forbid) he would have to thank Methos for relieving him of the effects of a Dark Quickening he'd experienced when he took the Immortal head of brash Captain Sellenger. He couldn't undo what he'd done to one under his care and authority while she slept, but he could make the most of what she'd gained from the encounter. His buildings tended to be holy ground, so he trained her in those places, physically and mentally, every day. He saw no room to conceal a weapon about her person, and here she was surrounded by Immortals. Clearly she was not taking the training seriously. Although, if the men and women around her were trustworthy, she wouldn't have to worry. That was a big "if".

Greta spied a Jem'Hadar cosplayer (or what she thought was a cosplayer. That makeup job was too convincing) heading for the Klingon with the slimy gummy worms. She had plans to take her wires and knives on for peace-bonding when she spied Duncan MacLeod. Her memories of him, long buried, came screaming back to her in an instant. Darn Immortal Flashbacks. Seeing the signature "looking away into the past" expression on his chiseled face, she decided to let him drift off into painful memories in her stead. He never called her back, though. That thought could never escape her mind. She didn't find out what had happened to Tessa for days after she gave Duncan what aid she could in finding his ill-fated fiancé. She'd made a conscious effort to not employ her precognition after that. She'd kept up that effort to this day. She'd come to regret it once her employer had explained what he'd done to her while she slept in his home, and more so when he offered her his own head as reparation.

Seeing Greta brought the sadness of Tessa's death back to Duncan, but he held no ill will toward the girl. She had given him his best chance to rescue Tess, and it wasn't her fault that junkie had killed her and Richie mere minutes afterward.

Richie had tried to find Greta, to let her know an edited version of what had happened, but had been unable to locate her. The number she had given MacLeod had been lost during the fight with the Watcher in the pitch black basement, burned when his sword ignited the matchbook.

He took a step toward Greta, a sad smile on his face.

Greta saw Duncan notice her, and approach almost immediately. Wishing she'd checked her appearance before he noticed her, she wondered why he hadn't skipped this Quickencon like he had the one in Paris. She hoped he wasn't stilll lonely and in great need. That would make her lover's life painfully and eternally awkward.

"Greta," Duncan said, as he came up to the girl. "It's been a long time."

Behind him, Joe looked confused. He recognized the girl after a moment, remembering Duncan had gone to her for some kind of advice while looking for the kidnapped Tessa Noel. It was before Dawson and MacLeod had formally met, but he had been Watching Mac for almost 15 years before that.

She hadn't been an Immortal then -- had that changed? If so, she hadn't made the Watchers' Chronicles yet, nor had she been assigned a Watcher.

As Rorschach was passing by the group near the elevator, he was struck by Greta's skimpy costume and let out a small whistle of appreciation.

"Hello, Methos." replied Kortan, addressing his returning plaything. A few mouths were agape at this news, and Kortan smiled to himself that he had gone unnoticed at his own convention. This would make his plan for the MacLeods very easy to achieve. Not failing to notice the increase in people approaching the three converged groups, he pointed out that he'd memorized Methos's every nuances and gesture long ago, when beating him shamefully was still fun. Wondering if he'd finally see if there was any lingering scarring from their last encounter (where again he'd spared Methos for being a disappointment) he warned the outed Immortal away with his eyes.

Greta was a bit nervous around Duncan (and resentful that he was in his prime forever and she wasn't) and the all-too-familiar whistle from the completely covered man only made things worse. She wished she could have been more helpful to Duncan, and that he'd called back. Even if he'd lost her number, he knew where she worked, so he could have found her easily. If she'd known where he'd been, she would have turned to him as her teacher, instead of Edmond, who she turned to for many more things.

The Rorschach mask hid the features of the passing man entirely, and if he acknowledged Kortan's jibe at all it was entirely unseen. For all the world, his entire interest had been on the brief glimpses of the globes of Greta's breasts as he entered the elevator behind them and the doors closed.

Duncan and Joe were exchanging confused glances, before looking at Kortan. Joe's eyes narrowed, and he caught MacLeod's arm. "Mac, I think we've seen enough for one day," he said. "Let's go."

Kortan smirked as Edmond left on dejected. It served him right for wanting to be MacLeod's friend. Jacob Kell was still alive, and for that reason, Kortan had plans for Duncan. Edmond knew this, as he knew Kortan would any length of time and measure to return to dystopia Katana had exiled him to so long ago.

Greta sought out the alleged Methos under the Rorschach guise. She wanted to get better aquainted with him after their "incident" all those years ago.

Kortan saw his posse of Immortals, and went off to attend to official business with them. Edmond, left on his own, saw an old enemy, Tarlton of the American Revolution, and made his icy distance.

Greta asked Rorschach "Methos... That wouldn't make you the Adam Pearson who didn't call me back after that weekend in Paris, would it?" She had been searching for him to get reaquainted ever since she'd learned that she had forever to live.

Immortal Methos
Vice Captain

Methos was startled to find that Greta had managed to get onto the elevator with him -- and that she had equated his real name with the alias of Adam Pierson. He didn't want to scare her, but he was more than a little freaked out himself right now.

Turning, still hidden by the mask, he loomed over her. "Where have you heard those two names together before?" he growled.

A little offended that he didn't seem to remember her, Greta explained "My Immortal employer saw your image on the ..."tape" we made together almost twenty years ago, and asked me how I'd managed to conquer the elusive Methos. I wasn't sure who he was talking about, as I only knew the Adam Pierson who seduced me."

Edmond saw his lovely assistant (who was dressed like a magician's lovely assistant) accompany the oldest Immortal to not be beheaded yet. Hoping she wouldn't be targeted by someone after his head or Adam's, he turned his attention to the party that had accompanied her. 5 Immortals, four of whom wore functional armor. They accompanied by Mortals armed to the teeth. Probably present to aid in Immortal battles.

The one dressed as Date Masamune (if he'd been a video game character) apporached Edmond first and said "You seem really familiar with Tracy. Care to explain how?" He seemed to be stroking the sheath of his sword while he said this.

This surprised MacDonnell. He didn't know Greta as "Tracy." Hoping to avoid revealing something he shouldn't, he merely said "That's between me and her."

Immortal Methos
Vice Captain

Methos removed his mask, and smiled gently at her. "How have you been, Greta?" he asked.

He would never admit to MacLeod that, like Duncan, he had a certain soft spot for his past lovers -- the ones who hadn't tried to kill him yet, that is.

He had a lot of concerns wandering in the back of his mind: If she worked for Kortan, was she a part of his agenda -- and what did that agenda have to do with the world's oldest Immortal? Was she in trouble?

--and what was she doing showing Kortan a sex tape of the two of them? When had he made a sex tape?!

Dear sweet god...
