Featherwing took Moondust, Oakwisker, and Talonfoot to a muddy pool. "Roll around in this, it will help camoflage and make it easier to catch prey."

Hazelkit nodded, still shocked that she had received a dream from her ancestors. "W-what should I do? Do I tell anyone? Should I tell Icemist?" questioned the frightend kit.

Cursedstar shook her head. "I'll tell her. Don't worry about it, if you do all the worring what am I supposed to do?"She smiled at the kit. "Now go play. You can worry when you're older."

Hazelkit promptly sat down. "I know you have better things to do, but there are NO kits in the nursery! Its just me. And the dragonfly I was playing with this week... well, I ate it." Cursedstar flashed a quick grimace. "Hey," Hazelkit exclaimed, "Why don't I go on a hunting patrol or something? I cought a mouse when I got lost this morning." she added hopefully.

Cursedstar flashed a quick grimace. "I'm lonley." concluded the kit. Before Cursedstar was able to interupt, Hazelkit was off talking agian."Hey," Hazelkit exclaimed, "Why don't I go on a hunting patrol or something? Shadowice lay in the nersery having her kits. it was very painfull for her. Icemist was at her side giving her herbs to eat. when it was over five kits were laying by her side. she liked them on there small heads purring. "you may come in now Blackfur." Icemist meowed to Shadowices mate, Stoneheart. he came in quickly looking at Shadowice then to the kits. Icemist went out of the nursery and Shadowice purred. "five healthy kits." he purred. "ill tell Cursedstar." he ran out of the nursery.

Icemists went out of the nursery happily purring. Stoneheart came at her side. "thank you Icemist." Stoneheart purred to her. "youre welcome Stoneheart. will you tell Cursedstar that im going out of camp to collect herbs?" she asked Stoneheart. he nodded then turned around to go to Cursedstar to tell her the news. Icemist walked out of camp knowing what herbs to get: cobweb, poppy seeds and fever few. she needed to talk to Cursedstar that she needed an apperentice soon even though she was very young.

"Hey," whispered Hazelkit squeezing into the nersury "You had your kits! Congratulations! What are you going to name them? Five! Five whole kits for me to make friends with! Oh, they are so cute!" bubbled Hazelkit. She immediatly shut up as she saw the wilted look on Shadowice's face, and the angry look on BLackfur's. "Congratulations..." Hazelkit repeated, her face burning with embarrasment "Sorry!" and dashed out of the nursery, smack into Icemist returning with her herbs. "Oh, I'm sorry!" cried the exited Hazelkit. "Hey, you brought some cobwebs. And fever few and poppy seeds! I know what they do too!" rushed Hazelkit, keen on impressing Icemist. "The cobwebs stop the bleeding and the poppy seeds soothe any stress as well as make them sleep." Icemist opened her mouth but Hazelkit cut her off. "The fever few cools down the temperature of the body." Icemist looked stunned, and the kit hoped she hadn't over done it. "I'll pick these up for you." stated Hazelkit arranging them by the herb type, in neat little bundles. "How did you know all that?" asked Icemist, bewildered. "I listened to you when you talked about them, and..." trailed Hazelkit "Well, I just knew. Like and instinct."

Shadowice watched as Hazlepaw dash out of the nursery. "kits." she sighed. she looked at Blackfur. "hello Blackfur, have you came to see the kits?" she asked. "yes i have. they are beautiful Shadowice." he purred.
"they will make fine warriors."
"thank you Blackfur." she purred back. the kits started to suckle her then Blackfur walked out of the nursery.

"good job Hazlekit, you would make a fine medicen cat. thank you Hazlekit i wouldnt mind if you would take the herbs to my den. just put them in the middle of my den would you?" Iceheart asked "would you like to be PebbleClans new medicen cat?"

Moondust happily jumped into the pile of mud. Oakwhisker soon followed, but Talonfoot wrinkled his nose at them as he turned to take the crow back to camp.

"Now what?" Moondust asked enthusiastically, happy she can finally learn to hunt. I sound like an overexcited apprentice again... Moondust giggled. Even Oakwhisker seemed more ecstatic now that the grumpy FireClan cat had gone.

What am I talking about? Wondered Moondust. Talonfoot may be from FireClan, but he's PebbleClan now. And so am I. This could take some getting used to. Moondust concluded.

Shadowices kits were sleeping deeply. she looked up to see her leader, Cursedstar come in the den. "hello Cursedstar." she purred "i havent thought of their names yet but i will."

"Okay, the mud will help blend into the rocks, so its best to stay near the side or low to the ground." Featherwing mewed and motioned for them to follow.
"See a little ways away theres another crow, stay low to the ground as we walk towards it." This time it was Birdpaw, she sunk as low to the ground as she could and still moved. Featherwing did the same. They slowly moved towards the place the crow was circling and waited for the black bird to get lower to the ground. "As soon as the crow is close enough to the ground leap and use all your bodyweight to bring the bird down. Moondust and Oakwisker, you get this one." Featherwing backed away and let the other two warriors try.

Hazelkits eyes lit up as Icemist asked her if she wanted to be a medicen cat. "Yes yes oh, YES!" she cried, leaping away to put back the herbs. Then she rushed off to tell her mother the wonderful news.

Shadowices kits were sleeping, she was thinking of names for them. ill name them Stonekit, Pebblekit, Frostkit, Flamekit and Clawkit. she thought. she put her head to paws and saw another cat come in. it was Crusedstars deputy. "hello, came to see the kits?" Shadowice asked lifting her head to see their deputy. "have you thought of their names?" the deputy asked. "yes i have. Stonekit, Pebblekit, Frostkit, Flamekit and Clawkit." she purred pointing her tail to each of the kits. "will you tell Crustedstar?" the deputy nodded and leaving the den.
