So- a bit of an update.

My Grump's health has taken a turn for the worst- but he's feeling better.

I have a new job- doing something I love where I don't have to talk to bitchy salesmen all day.

Tea's Creamy Spiced Coco Mix

5c Powdered Milk
1 1/4c Powdered Sugar
1/3c Powdered non-dairy Creamer
1/2c Cocoa
A pinch of Cinnamon, Clove and Cardamom each.

Mix the powders in a large bowl, then place in a jar.

About 1/3c mixed with about a cup of hot water makes a yummy treat.

Its not so much they they don't want to read it, it's that theres so much of it, and some of it seems so trivial I want a sperate place to record it, just so I can remember.

I attended the christingles service today. A tip of the hat in the direction of YHVH, out of respect really.
I've been to church perhaps 3 times since I was eleven. But this time was different.
Instead of doing the stuff and singing the songs without really caring or understanding; this time I did it andI understood why. Even so, I felt like a complete spare part. Nothing struck a chord with me I felt guilty being there and generally uninspired. neutral
The local congregation is a shambles if you ask me, little children running all over the place uncontrolled and everything.

Boyfriend-unit and I were visiting a friend yesterday. As we were leaving the apartment complex, a woman from building A comes running up and asks if we live there. We told her we were just visiting, and she tells us to let our friends know that there was just a break-in in building A.

Unfortunately for Mr. Burglar, he was met by a man who owned a gun. And it seems Mr. Burglar was shot dead.

I know. We didn't hear anything, but we were playing Rock Band rather loudly. sweatdrop It was only a building away, too. Our poor friend who lives in the complex is really shaken, but he lives on the third floor, and burglars are usually lazy about dragging televisions and the like down three big flights of stairs.
