she tried it again but she lost her voice. I'll be with mama now she thought wrapping her tail around her body giving up

Kindlestar looked at Flamewind and flattened her ears some, her eyes growing cold but saying nothing.

After a while she could hear the loner chatting, and she headed towards the medicine cat den, only to find Lionkit inside with Sun.

"Lionkit! You shouldn't come into the medicine cat den unsupervised. This is the place for our ill, not for you to play," she meowed in a harsh tone. Her voice soothed out a little and she sighed. "Wouldn't do to have you hurt or sick. After all, sick kits cannot become apprentices," she added, looking down at the kit.

Lionkit nodded and cut the cobwebs off him "Now help" then she heard Kindlestar

Sun sighed. "Sorry, leader. It's my fault..." He sighed again. "Punish me."  

[Kitsune Thistletree]

Kindlestar almost purred in amusement at Sun's words.

"Punish you? There is no punishment in this camp for attempting to help another cat, even if the cat is an intruder. However, the medicine cat den is no place for a kit, and I would rather speak to you without the ears of kits around." At this, she gave Lionkit a meaningful look, waiting for her to leave the den.

"Well, oh! Right! Moon! Okay. You have to know the story from the beginning," he began, after Lionkit left.



Sun's story:

I saw my sister, Moon, in a clearing when we were kittypet kits. SHe had a devious look on her face. "Sun," she told me, in a low, cheerful tone. "We are going to hunt forest cats tonight."

I shook my head in fear, knowing that she only wanted to prove her bravery, as kits often do, but I was also afraid of the forest cats. It is said that you eat live rabbits and kittypets for food, and sharpen your claws on old bones. Now, I know this not to be true.

Moon ran off into the forest, and I silently followed her from downwind, making sure that there was no way for her to find me. I watched her as she finally came up to a kit about as big as she. Scared that she had actually met a forest cat, she swiped at the kit, and ended up killing it. She looked at the blood on her paws, and smiled a devious smile. She had enjoyed it, killing this kit.

Several moons later, Moon had killed more than 25 cats, including some from our own neighborhood. I tried to stop several, but only succeeded once. That time, Moon found out that I had known about her killing sprees. Moon attempted to kill me. She is unbelievably strong, and wrestling her, I got a bit of skill from myself. She and I had trained each other as kits and older, so we are not average kittypets. Moon is much stronger than most cats, and now, she plans on taking over the forest. SHe wants to kill the leader and trick the clans into making her their leader. She is a master at that sort of thing.

((Hmmm, this might prove a problem. Patchy told me she didn't want something like ThornClan to happen again. However, as long as we keep this story controlled, I do not see how this will do us bad. Sun has yet to take a life, so let's see if this is the message that was sent to me. ninja ))

Kindlestar flattened her ears. "What she doesn't know is that FireClan does not awe at power. Our Clan name is the one that strikes the most danger, but in reality, we value friendship, family, and wisdom more than what your littermate seems to think of us. Not only that, but I am not as weak as I look," Kindlestar replied to his story.

At least, I am when I am feeling better... she thought, a look of worry crossing her eyes for a second. Oh StarClan, let it not be greencough...
