thankies^^ I sort of wanted something new, yet not so new as not to feel like me anymore. 3nodding

Besides, I can't wear me leaf with the NM headband, sadly, and I wanted something green to match the skirt. Plus this hairstyle is nifty, specially now that everyone isn't wearing it anymore 3nodding

And on a completly unrelated note...I think that in addition to the tattoo(s) (What I want is sort of like, several small dragon/fairy/serpent thingas flying around my upper body, so I dunno if that counts as one or several), and ear peircings that I want to get...I think I might want a lip ring too 0_o They look quite nifty.

lol the things that shall happen when mother has no legal say anymore rofl
it looks awesome on you! =^_^=

^.^ Piercings are fun, and less permanent than tats. 3nodding

I love lip rings, and eyebrow rings too. Actually I was going to get both righ up until I started having trouble with my earrings. >.< I got a bunch of keloids that refuse to go away, so I think it'd be best not for me to get facial piercings. And, well, those are the only ones I want. Though, there's a surface piercing for the neck that looks pretty neat. . .

piercings are indeed fun. though tats are definitly on the agenda too XD

I bought a fake lip ring today along with some pretty earings. It looks fairly real (I actually sorta suspect it's meant to be worn in a hole cause it hurts after a while and doesnt look like clip-on jewelry usually does) and gah. I was wearing it around the mall/on my way home, and I sorta want to wear it to school tommorow, but I know it's gonna illicit a lot of unwanted and repatative attention ("what's that?!") and dunno if I wanna deal with that. whee

And keloids are indeed bad. Don't you need those proffesionally removed? i thought you did but I might be wrong 0_o (I once got paranoid about whether some raised scars I have were keloids, cause I didn't quite know what they were, so I looked it up and saw some pics of some seriously large keloids and was like 0___o nope, no keloids here).

Dun really like neck peircings myself. Or those madonna things or whatever they're called. But yeah, lip and eyebrow are my favorite face peircings too actually^^

and thanks Sukanar^^

Meh. I don't like piercings too much. Eyebrows don't bug me unless they have like thirty of them, but for some reason I dislike lip piercings alot. Probably because I like spicy food and having a lip pierced would hurt when I ate said food.

I'm weird that way.

I've wanted an eyebrow piercing for a while now, but I know I can't get it because I can't even handle earrings in my ears everyday cause my skin is too sensitive. sad

Over the centuries, mankind has tried many ways of combating the forces of evil...prayer, fasting, good works and so on. Up until Doom, no one seemed to have thought about the double-barrel shotgun. Eat leaden death, demon...

>.> Indeed.

Keloids don't always have to be professionally removed, most times you can get rid of them with some pure Vitamin E oil or if that doesn't work, some Hydrocortisone.

So far they're not working. >.> I might have to do the professional thing. The problem with that though, is that it just causes more scarring which could just bring the keloid back. >.< (Keloids are just scar tissue that doesn't know when to stop growing). Also, people with blood type A are more suceptible to them. . . for some reason. I'm guessing that might be my blood type. ^^;

I've got two ideas for tattoos but I'm going to wait until I have a job and know what my limitations are for visible tats. The other one would be a back tat so I'm not worried about that one. . .just the pain it would cause.

Monroe piercings: Not a huge fan of those either, they're oddly popular though.

Lip ring: The only time you have to abstain from spicy food is when you get it pierced and through the healing process (so for a few weeks).

mmm, I wore my fake lip ring today. it looked nice to me and apparently most people who commented thought it was real (gah to repativly having to refute that notion) but woah did it hurt. Until I took it out and put it somewhere else it was...a very...interesting excercise in let's pretend my lip isn't hurting like a biotch.

So then I ask for a real one since I still need parental consent legally, and father's all like, whatever, sure, and mother basically acts completly horrible to the point of just like...insulting me for five minutes straight about my lifestyle choices, so yeah, gonna keep wearing it now despite the pain just to spite her cause I'm stubborn like that lol

Eyebrow peircings are cool and something I'd consider in the future, though the fact that apparently there's a fairly large chance of it being rejected by the body sort of turns me off from it a bit personally.

DrdScully - do you have problems even with metals that are supposed to be good/better for skin?

And yeah, the proffesional thing doesn;'t sound like much fun, though if more natural methodss don't work...and yep, to my knowledge, blood type A and African americans are groups at risk...though I don't think the latter would apply to you Sel XD

Yay for O- blood! I can give blood to everyone. whee

And just where else did you put the thing Cass? Hmmm?
PostPosted: Tue Mar 28, 2006 10:08 pm
xd Yeah, I'm about as pale as they come *reflects light in pictures* sweatdrop

My mom freaked out at my sister because she got a lip ring too. . . this was at a time when she didn't need consent though. She basically was like "RAWR! Stupid Girl!!" and that was about it. Now she's pretty fine with it. Mind you she didn't think it was all that bad once my sis got her nape done. sweatdrop (My sister = s**t disturber).
My dad either didn't notice or chose not to confront her about it. ^^

Eyebrow rings: If I remember correctly, yep, they do migrate quite easily.

Only on the side of my lip instead of in the center of it, lol

Blood type B myself. Yay B. I think the one that can get blood from everyone is coolest though xd

Lol indeed. Once I turn eighteen there shall be plenty-a-scene like that in my house methinks. Except mine would be like "RAWR stupid girl!" for like, days. I was gonna wait with the lip ring till I turn 18 actually, but now I find I reallyreallyreally want one now/soon so...constant whining/arguing with mother it shall be.

And thanks Gem^^ and yeah, twas very lucky you got the sash when ya did 3nodding And yeah, hope the work thing settles down for you and all that^^
