And Jen's dad is a "Senior Systems Software Analyst" (fancy name for programmer but worth a few extra bucks) and I think sometimes Jen knows more about the graphics because she really loves the graphics- just don't tell hubby I said that (grin)

*hugs Mom* I do know more about the graphics at least in application, Dad seems to know more about the technical specs. If I ever get time to go through my book I'll know more about web design too. Dad said he doesn't know anything about web languages. xd

Hmm, I think it's only right that children surpass their parents, don't you agree everyone?
But you know... I was thinking that what if our kids were born with what we already know. Wouldn't that be something? I'm not talking about our experiences or stuff like that but, just the knowledge of things we had to study for and things like that. How about that? Hmm?

Can be true, but it depends. I mean I got all my computer skills from my brother Simon...and I am better than him at it now. When it comes to typing and such, but he is better at prgramming software and such.

Yesterday wrapped up presents with my mum as we might aswell do it now to save time.

Also I decided to grow my nails out as I have two lovely rings coming for christmas. One I have seen and one I haven't seen.

For my nails I have this stuff that if you put your nails in your month it tastes nasty and makes you gag. Will be good stuff for me! Lol.

I aint gonna be around for much over the new few weeks or so. My half brother is in hospital dying. So yeah....

Ouch yes, that's gotta sting. Kinda like a friend of mine losing her grandfather a few weeks ago. *Hugs Mandy*

I lost my brother to cancer - it was a long four years where we kept thinking we had it all and then it recurred. I am sorry to hear someone you love is in such a hard situation as well. The hardest thing I had to do was write down what he wanted for his funeral, etc because my mom was still refusing to believe he was going to die and my brother wanted to make things easier on us. He let me know who he wanted as pallbearers, what songs, what he wanted in his obituary, etc. I was always the "baby of the family" and he said it was a really interesting place for a "big brother" who was used to sheltering and protecting me to have to place such a burden on me - but he was definitely a wonderful brother and I was glad I could do something for him. Let us know how everything turns out, will you? Hugs from here! heart

Well, I hope everything turned out fine for Mandy...

As for me, I am thrilled! Why? Cuz I finally have my old busted PS2 back in working order after a friend of mine had it fixed. Since it costed him a pretty penny, I told him it would be our PS2 from then on. After sometime, I finally have it with me so I've been playing Castlevania Curse of Darkness a lot. That's why I haven't been around here much. I excuse myself if I happen to not come often from now til I have to give the game back (as the game is not mine, it's my friend's). CoD is great and it has a cool medieval feel to it. Everyone here should try it at least once! 3nodding

Thanx Jenannen, MsJo. I hope everyone here had a nice x-mas, new year's eve and, most importantly, I wish that everyone gets to see their goals and/or dreams fullfilled.
And yes, games can be a great outlet but, they can also be a good source of inspiration.
