Firesong shook her head. "You don't give yourself nearly enough credit Creamtail." She looked at Dawnlight. "Respect is a big part of love, too. You respect Blazewhisper, obviously. You understand love more than you think."

Thrushkit looked at the group, feeling slightly put out. Then he spotted Forestkit moving toward the Elders' den. He called out, "Hey Forestkit, whatcha doing?"

Forestkit looked up from her half eaten mouse. She moved over to Thrushkit and dropped it before him. "Eating." she said softly. "Would you like some?" She decided she had better start communicating to the others if she wanted to become an apprentice.  

[Suicidal Rain]

Sprintsong entered camp with some fresh kill in her mouth. She slowly trudged over to the fresh kill pile and dropped her prey. She sighed and sat down on a path of sunlight.

Thrushkit nodded. "Thanks." He took a bite of the mouse, glancing back at the fresh-kill pile, feeling slightly guilty about the lack of food.  

[Kamiya Kaoru Dono]

Forestkit curled up nearby and watched him. She had her fill on just a few pieces. The elders had shared a little of their meal she had brought in all on her own. "Your welcome." she mewed as she began grooming her soft tortoiseshell fur.

"You really think so, Firesong?" Creamtail asked, her voice upbeat. Her tail twitched and she looked up at Dawnlight. "I---I---think that maybe...you do really understand love...but you just don't see it..."

flamewind tried to get up, but her legs wobbled so much that she just fell back down.
"I have to hunt. The fresh-kill pile is too small for the clan." she whined.

If I get an apprentice, I won't kill Flamewind off yet!]]

Firesong heard a noise coming from within the den. Walking in, she saw Flamewind. She heard the she-cat's complaint. "You won't be able to do much in this condition Flamewind." She looked sympathetic. "If you want to help; rest. That way you'll get better more quickly. Besides, you'll need to get better soon, because you may get an apprentice. Thrushkit and probably Forestkit may be apprenticed today. I don't know, but Emptykit and Badgerkit might too. That's a lot, and even if this Ceremony doesn't bring you an apprentice, alot of kits are going to need one soon, and you're a great warrior. You've got to relax and get better though."

Forestkit yawned and stretched. "Do you wish to become a warrior?" she asked Thrushkit. He seemed to be the only kit who paid her any mind. "Or do you want to become something, more?" She looked at him with her golden eyes. Her nose twitched as she sniffed the air. She sneezed and laid back down.

Thrushkit looked at her. "You mean like a medicine cat? I thought about it. I think most cats do at some point. But I've never felt any big connection to Starclan or anything; besides, I think others cats could do a lot better than me...What about you? Do you wanna be a medicine cat?"

(Flamewind are you holding your character hostage?! rofl "I won't kill Flamewind if you give me an apprentice" pirate )

Duskwind watched as Dawnlight and Creamtail talked about something, she wasn't listening, she was still thinking about the ominous sign StarClan gave Kindlestar. When the rising sun takes the life of one of your own, the moon will shed blood. What does this mean? Is someone going to die? But how can the SUN take a life? Duskwind looked at the setting sun. It seems pretty harmless now...  

[Kamiya Kaoru Dono]

Forestkit shrugged and licked her paws. "I want to be more." she said softly. "Not a medicine cat, but more like...what a queen is..." She thought about it. "A loving mother to help protect and nurse her clan." She looked at him. "I sound silly."  

[Akiko-infinity]

Thrushkit smiled, flicking an ear. "You don't sound silly at all. What you said reminds me of Cloudyheart. She would do anything for her kits, and she kinda acts like the other warriors are her kits too." He purred, knowing that Forestkit would find out and do exactly what she wanted, and would accept nothing less. "Besides, I don't think you'll have any trouble being exactly what you want." He looked around the camp at the clan, feeling a sudden rush of pride. He'd do anything for his clan, he knew it.

Forestkit purred and flicked his ear with her tail. He was too nice to her. She purred gently and got up to stretch. "I bet you will become one of the strongest warrior." she said. She looked around camp wondering if what she heard was true. She hoped to be an apprentice soon.
