((sorry I've been gone. I've been really sick. xp um, what was i going to say at the Moontree again? Something about impending danger and a war with Moonclan, right? Wait, I've got an idea. I was going to use this in a story i was going to make, but i think it will work well here.))

Firesong padded out after Flamewind. "Flamewind!" Her voice was sharp and piercing, not at all to be expected from the medicine cat. She ran over and stood in front of the she-cat. "You are no where near well enough to leave the den yet. Not only that, but you could spread the illness to the others! Back to the Medicine den!"

Thrushkit brought Morningwind a rabbit before padding outside. He could hear a loud shrieking voice that turned out to be the medicine cat. He didn't know whether to laugh or cry at seeing Flamewind accosted by the unassuming Firesong.

Flamewind couldn't complain. She couldn't breathe enough to.

It was starting to darken as Dawnlight came back to camp, his fur ruffled up. He was hungry, but the day had given him nothing in his hunt. His ears where flattened with frustration as he cursed leaf bare and its lack of food.

Kindlestar should do something about this... if this lack of food continues, we will all get infected with greencough...

Firesong sighed, taking pity on the warrior. She helped Flamewind back to the medicine cat den, giving her another dose of medicine. She went outside, spotting Dawnlight. She didn't have to ask; she could tell that he'd been unsuccessful.

Warpaw walked back into camp a few foxtails behind Dawnlight.

"So do you have a place to stay?Because there and loads of dogs in the woods."Leroy said kindly "No,"Sharpclaw sighed "Well you can always stay at my place,"the old cat replied

Dawnlight looked up and saw Firesong at the entrance and sighed. He could see the medicine cat looked worried, and this worried him in turn.

"Is she back?" he asked, wondering if Kindlestar had returned. He had seen leave in the morning, but like everyone else in the camp, he had no idea why she had left.

Firesong shook her head. "Not yet, but I expect her back soon." She looked at the almost empty fresh-kill pile. "How goes your training, Warpaw?"

Thrushkit walked out of the nursery and shivered. Why was it so cold? Oh, yeah, leafbare...he noticed the fresh-kill pile and frowned, walking up to the others. "Hey, when do you think Kindlestar will be doing another apprenticeship ceremony?"

Dawnlight looked down at the small kit.

"I heard her talking to Blazewhisper about that the other day. I know it will be soon. Who are you hoping for a mentor?" he asked, sneering down at the kit.
