That's okay Tea...your not the only one. Monty Python was never funny for me. Ever. It got less funny the more people quoted it.
~clings~

ACK! ~Clung too~

See I even know the exact reason I don't like Monty Python. It's zany...yes, but it tries so damn Hard to be. Watching Monty Python is likes listening to a joke when the joke teller has to explain why the joke is funny...ever 10 syllables
That's a large part of it.

I was thinking the other day about how when Isakane, CatofSilence and I were all watching the pilot of Supernatural we were all laughing. Great lines in that show! But it's not the point of the show.

Maybe things that try to be funny just aren't sometimes.

Yep. I've seen it.
Just didn't think it was funny.

For some reason my Social Studies teacher spent a bunch of time playing Python.

In other news- the Japanese Tea Festival will have a "How to make Mochi" class.

I am going to end up swimming home after a weekend of drinking lots and lots of tea. sweatdrop

Myself- I tend to be of the opinion if you can put one down, you can count them all- up until you say a specific kind of animal is "cute".

Ah, that is fair for you.

Also, I happen to like Black Adder. ninja

I don't feel I need to take out one of every breed to have it mean what it needs to. Make sense?

Monty-python-kicks-a** crying
Life of brian, what a legend.

I haven't seen the whole movie, but I did see the ending. "Always look on the bright side of life" just cracks me up.

I love British humor. Mainly because it takes a certain amount of wit to understand it.

From what I've seen watching BBC America, here's what's really funny to the British crowd:

-Men wearing dresses.
-People falling down.

And if a man in a dress falls down, I swear half the crowd pisses themselves. rofl

Did you watch little britain? It loses comic value after a while.

@Fiddler- I love blackadder. I have 3 series worth on old school video tape biggrin

anyone a fan of Eddie Izzard?

he gets me more than Python, but i still love them too.

Jeff Dunham and Pablo Francisco are also fairly good comedians.

I've seen a bit of that show. I see a lot more of Graham Norton than that, nowadays. And Absolutely Fabulous. whee

Blackadder is entertaining. Hugh Laurie, yes please. ninja

I just caught the live-action 101 Dalmations with Hugh Laurie as Jasper. A friend of mine commented: "He looks like a sexy hobo." I'm inclined to agree.
