Firesong looked irked. "That mousebrain. She's going to end up collapsing out there by herselfwith no one to help her...." She sighed, then tipped her head in a late greeting to the leader. "I'll walk with you guys for a bit. I want to try and find Flamewind."

Kindlestar nodded at the medicine cat.

"We'll take Creamtail along to help you find her. She's good at tracking down," she mewed at the medicine cat, then waited for Duskwind to eat the herbs so they could head out.

Dawnlight got out of the warrior's den and padded towards the apprentice den.

"Warpaw. Warpaw, wake up," he muttered at the sleeping apprentice, poking him with his paw.

Creamtail slid to a halt as she heard Kindlestar say her name. "I'm doing what now?" she asked, padding towards the leader. "Is it going to be interesting? Am I going to have to hurt anything?"

Sprintsong padded into camp in a verycloudy mood. She found a patch of sun and sat down, with her head hung low.

"Oh yeah, Creamtail we're going to go bully flowers," Duskwind teased, "No, you're coming with us to help Firesong search for Flamewind."

Badgerkit slowly opened his eyes, then yawned. "Good morning," His mother Morningwind purred. Badgerkit looked up and purred back. "Mommy i'm hungry" he squeaked. Another bundle of fur rolled into him. "Badgerkit your always hungry!" His sister Emptykit batted Badgerkit's ear playfully. "It's nothing that a growing kit should be ashamed of, now go play with the other kits!" Morningwind prodded Emptykit away. Emptykit gave a playful bite on Badgerkit's tail before her mother pushed her away for good. I hate sisters! Badgerkit thought to himself as he pushed his head into his mothers warm belly.

"Don't tease me," Creamtail sighed. "But okay. I can do that."  

[Kitsune Thistletree]

Kindlestar noticed Sprintsong entering the clearing in a foul mood. She wondered what the she cat had been doing out so early in the morning, but decided it was not her place to ask.

Besides... the longer I take getting to MoonTree, the more time I may have to be away.

She pushed the thought aside and padded towards the entrance. She noticed Dawnlight nosing into the apprentices' den and nodded, grateful he was doing as he was told.

She then realized she hadn't asigned anyone to hunting duty, so she looked back at Sprintsong and called out.

"Sprintsong, you are up for hunting duty. The fresh kill pile is looking a little empty," she called out, nodding her head at the fresh kill pile before heading out.

Flamewind was hunting far into the forest (still in territory) and had already caught several mice, voles, and squirrels, and to make sure that she didn't give her illness to anyone, had washed them all in the river with her paws. This way, they were not contaminated.

Seeing as the other kit had left her, Forestkit went back to the nursery. She wanted to do something other than play like a normal kit. She was more lenient towards thinking of what she could do if she was allowed. She yawned softly as she curled up in her nest.

Sprintsong slowly got up and trudged out of camp. Following the scent of a mouse, she crouched down.

Flamewind continued on in her hunting.

I'm thinking of killing off Flamewind, I really am, but only so that I can play another character starting from kit all over again, like the Cinderheart thing.]]

(well...Sharpclaw is still missing but she's at the twolegplace where she's met a cat named Leroy, Kindlestar and I are going to the Moon Tree to see if we should get involved in the war [see poll above] and Flamewind has greencough but she left camp to go hunt and apparently is going to die...i think that's it)

Duskwind tried to pick up Flamewind's scent as they made their way across FireClan territory.
