-My boss (the one I talked about a few pages ago) is convinced that Ted Kennedy's death is part of a CIA plot to get the health care thing pushed through. I kid you not. I'm not entirely sure where the connection is, but I do love a good conspiracy theory.

-It only reached a high of 73 degrees today. I am displeased.

-Team Fortress continues to be awesome. I was playing as a Spy and disguised myself as a player from the other team. While disguised, I backstabbed the very player I was impersonating and got the "Identity Theft" achievement.

-Batman: Arkham Asylum is awesome with a capital AWE.

-I did the new bi-weekly exercise for Critique Circle in which the prompt is basically to write the first page of a story that would make a reader want to read more. One of the guidelines is that it can only be about 300 words. I ended up with nearly 1000. I really like what I have, so now I have to figure out how to compact it all xp

-They're making a "Bad Boys 3"! That might not be a big deal to most, but if you're like me and enjoy ridiculous, over-the-top and completely amoral action movies, this is the best news ever.

And capital SOME, underline, bold, and gratuitious exclamation points, and you're pretty damn close to describing the game in full.

Yeah, husband has been loving on that game all week too. I'm just excited that they got Mark Hamill to do the voice of the Joker for it, because I think he's always done it best. (And if truth be told, I always imagine his voice for the Joker anyways.) Guess you can say that my mind has been completely warped by 90's cartoons, haha. twisted

Hey gang, I may need to appeal to you all in a bit for some help.

On my writer's site that I use, they have these bi-weekly prompts that users can work on and submit to be judged by others on the site. The current prompt is to do a 300 word story beginning that would leave a reader wanting to read more. I've done three so far and may do a few more before the deadline on the 15th. The part where you all come in is to help me decide which one to submit, as I can't decide myself.

Sound good?

Well, I finally got a homework assignment I think I can really sink my teeth into (sorry about the cliche-ness there). 3nodding We are going to be writing screenplays in English! blaugh I heart screenplays! I have been writing them for a good 2 years or more and cannot wait to get started!

Only one minor problem. confused I can't come up with a good 3 to 6 minute plot! sweatdrop I can't believe this! Normally I have tons of ideas, but for some reason I can't come up with anything. Advice? Suggestions for a story/plot?

The golden rule of screenplays is that one page = one minute of screen time, so whatever you do I would imagine needs to begin and end in that time frame as a lot of time jumping in that short a span can make for a very fractured story.

I don't know why I just thought of this, but if I were doing a story that took place in a short space of time like that I'd do something like: Lovable loser dude is at a random store where his crush works. When he sees her he gets into this scenario in his head where he talks to her and they hit it off quite well. He snaps back to reality. Does he talk to her? Does he move along and do nothing like always? What happens right afterward?

I don't know how many of you are curious to know, but I had an idea and went through with it for this assignment and turned it in I think on Tuesday or Wednesday (maybe as late as Thursday). 3nodding I turned it in early with a note to the professor telling her that if she wanted more information or if this didn't fit the assignment to email me back ASAP and I would gladly supply additional info and/or do it over. No email, so I assume everything to be hunky-dory! blaugh Wow, did I just type that?! eek That's a very old phrase! rofl Oh well, better than the first phrase to come to my mind..."...and the first one turned to the second one and said, 'I hope you're havin' fun!' Band on the run!..." Don't ask. Just don't ask. sweatdrop I've been so random today (and all week for that matter).

I had to use a Mac in one of my classes today and I feel so very wrong.

This must be what it feels like to cheat on a lover.

You know when I first was forced to use a Mac I felt the exact same way. sweatdrop It's horrible! I still prefer PCs to Macs when given the choice. 3nodding

So, after much poking and prodding from various elements, I've started a new blog basically talking about my religious beliefs. . . it's so weird putting myself out to the world ((Even without my identity attatched.)). I mean, seriously, as written, it is built as a guide to give just one possible 'path'. . . meaning I somehow become responsible for every person who takes my words to heart. . .

It's kinda humbling thinking about the butterfly effect. . .
