[Kamiya Kaoru Dono]

Forestkit heard the fuss from where she lay. She was close to becoming an apprentice now but she was not interested in much of what was happening. She prayed to StarClan that her littermate would get better but there was nothing she could do. Slowly she made her way out of the den and headed out towards the fresh kill pile. She had yet to eat.

The sharp tang of garlic invaded Whisperkit's nose. She took a sudden intake of breath and opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was fresh kill. She slowly pushed herself towards it, moving painfully and jerkily with her stiff legs. She reached it, and took a bite. She took another and another, eating fast, until suddenly she turned away and was violently sick. Her stomach had not eaten for so long, it rejected the sudden solid food. Whisperket lay quivering, not noticing Firesong.

Firesong jumped up in alarm. She picked up whisperkit gently, carrying her to the nursery. Hopefully, Cloudyheart could feed her until her body could take solid food again.

She set whisperkit down in the nursery. "Stay here for a minute. I'm going to get Cloudyheart."

She padded out, spotting cloudyheart. "Cloudyheart, can I ask you for a favor?"

Forestkit looked around camp and sighed as she moved to the freshkill. She took a small mouse and moved to a spot where she could lay on her own to watch camp life. Her golden eyes caught sight of the cats moving around the camp. Though she was wishing she could be an apprentice, she was in no rush. She wasnt even sure who her parents were.

"Kindlestar...why should I believe that? I know you're the leader, and you have the power, but that doesn't mean that you know what to do to fix me..." Creamtailshook her head. "I've never fit in, the other cats act like I'm not here most of the tinme, and I don't do anything that real warriors do. I just don't belong..."

Kindlestar blinked warmly at the she cat and thought about what she had just said.

"If that were the case, then I myself would not fit in. Not everything goes according to the standards, and StarClan knows that better than anyone else. I see no need to fix you, but if being able to hunt and fight would make you feel better, then maybe we should speak to Firesong, or I could go to the MoonTree and ask StarClan what they see best," she replied simply after a while.

Then, she remembered the reason she had gone to PebbleClan, and her eyes grew round. She had not shared this information with anyone yet, not even Blazewhisper, but a cat like Creamtail might just have some advice for her.

"Also... what would you suggest be done if a cat from another Clan is making trouble and harassing one of the kits in another Clan?" she asked her in a nonchalant voice, looking the other way.

Cloudyheart's ears perked up at Firesong's call; turned to face the medicine cat. "Whatever could you need?" she asked, with a hard edge to her voice.

"Thrushkit! Thrushkit!" called Robinkit, scrambling away from Sparrowkit and over to her other brother. "Do you think I beat Sparrowkit?" she asked, jumping up and down.

Firesong noticed Cloudyheart's tone with puzzlement; what could be bothering the she-cat? "It's whisperkit, she's starving. Her body is rejecting solid food. Is there any way you could let her nurse until she recovers a bit?" Firesong hoped that Cloudyheart wouldn't be upset by the request.

Thrushkit, who hadn't been paying attention at all, blinked in surprise. "Um...I don't know. Why don't you guys have a rematch?" He flicked his tail in mild excitement. He was starting to feel a little like playing.

Forestkit looked around. She saw other kits playing but did not bother getting up. It was evident that she was a bit of a loner. No idea who her family was, she was left to her own devices. As long as she obeyed the rules, she had no trouble.

Sharpclaw walked into camp her orange fur was soaked making it easy to see the scar she got when she fought a badger as a apprentice. She hadn't been in camp for about two days maybe no one would even notice if I left
Warpaw followed behind Sharpclaw and looked around camp

Blazewhisper saw his sister. "Where did you go?" he had notice she was gone but kept quiet not to rasie any tourble for her.

The first thing Whisperkit noticed when she was dumped into the nursery was the familiar smell of milk. She sat up weakly and looked around. She had lived here for moons alone. Her mother and littermates had gone to StarClan a half moon after her birth. It was only by the grace of those ancient cats that she lived still. But was she to join them now? She would be able to meet her father for the first time, who had been killed in a border skirmish before she was even born. She settled back into the nest and fell into a warm, deep sleep.

Sparrowkit pounced on his brother again. "I'm Sparrowstar of FireCln! You can enver defeat me!" he yowled.

"Sparrowstar? Sparrowstar? You're Sparrowkit; I'm Robinstar, fool." she called out, pinning down her brother; hissing fiercely.

Cloudyheart's paws moved uncomfortably and she turned away. "Poor thing, I'll nurse her." she mewed, gazing at her kits with worried, green eyes.

Thorngaze padded up to Firesong. "Is there anything for me to do?" he asked, trying to keep boredness out of his voice.
