Firesong heard a soft whimper. She shot forward, into the burrow. She found whisperkit, and pulled her carefully out of the den, passing her out to Dawnlight. "Dawn-y, get whisperkit back to camp. I'll be right there." She turned around, annoyed at the briars that had her leg pinned. She carefully began to ease her foot out of the tangles.

"Lazybutt!" squeaked Robinkit, swiping her brother's nose with her claws, playfully. "You can never defeat me! And, you know that!" she called out.

Cloudyheart padded out of the nursery, glad for the fresh air and sunshine. She didn't like to be inside nor her kits. Cloudyheart's eyes flicked over to Thrushkit, where the little brown furball was sniffing around the entrance.

Thorngaze paced around the clearing, restless. He was careful not to trip over the fighting kits, and not to bring attention.

Dawnlight padded quickly back to camp, keeping his eyes back peeled for Firesong. He reached the camp and saw his brother pacing inside. He motioned at him with his tail as he headed for the medicine cat den, Whisperkit still in his jaws.

Firesong finally managed to free herself, suffering only a single minor cut. She darted back toward the camp, catching up at the entrance.

Thrushkit moved away from the entrance to allow the cats to come through. He padded towards his siblings.

Dawnlight turned to Firesong as he placed Whisperkit down. "Do you need anything else Firesong?" he asked the medicine cat, his ears perked up as he stood alert.

"You'll pay for that!" Sparrowkit yowled, and pounced on Robinkit.

Firesong nodded. "Yes, bring some fresh-kill to the den. Whisperkit is very weak, and it may be from hunger." She followed Dawnlight into the den, then began to look at whisperkit. She nudged the kit lightly with her nose.

Dawnlight went to the nearly empty fresh kill pile and took out a mouse. He remembered the fresh kill he had stashed on his morning hunt with Rabbitfoot and he hurried over to the medicine cat den. He placed the mouse on the ground in front of Firesong and looked down at her.

"I have some fresh kill stashed away from my morning hunt. I'll bring that here now and go out for some more," he assured her, then ran out of camp as fast as he could, not wanting to let Kindlestar or Firesong down with the need for food, especially if that was what Whisperkit needed.

Sharpclaw looked at her brother for a second but then looked away "I said I was fine....let's get back to camp,"

Warpaw sighed knowing that he couldn't do anything to get Sharpclaw to say what was bothering her but he knew that Blazewhisper might be able to

Whisperkit's eyelids fluttered and she shifted unconciously.

Firesong nodded, acknowledging Dawnlight, before digging through her herbs. She pulled out a small clove of garlic, breaking it open right in front of Whisperkit's nose. That should wake her up.... She placed the fresh-kill near whisperkit, hoping that the garlic trick would work so that she could find out what was wrong with the kit.

Dawnlight went and searched for his rabbit and sparrow and sighed. Prey was already being scarce, and he feared for the Clan. He took them in his mouth and ran off towards the camp, wanting to have another hunt before calling it a day.

Blazewhisper walked around looking for Dawnpaw.

Waterpaw licked kidnlestar's ear. "hey how are you?"

((Hey Blazewhisper, you may have to edit that post. You can look for Dawnlight, but Kindlestar is far off from camp a bit talking to Creamtail at the moment. 3nodding ))

Dawnlight padded back to camp, his mouth full with his fresh kill. He felt furious of not being able to find more at the moment, but he was starting to feel tired, and the day was beginning to look like it was ending. He then saw Blazewhisper padding towards him and he gave his old mentor a respectful nod.

"Evening, Blazewhisper," he mewed, his eyes tired.

Lovepaw saw waterpaw and patted up to her. She touched her tail to waterpaw's shoulder.
