Wow...thats....alot xD

I have 4k currently as I spent all my gold xd

My advice is to pick up the donation items the day they come out. Shouldnt cost you more then about 5k for each item. Then hold onto them for a while and watch the prices go up. I got a demonic pendant back when they came out, and sold it for about 60k when the Chyaku Norisu Scarfs came out. Bought a few of those, and sold them for 30k.

Its all buy low and sell high.

Next time I use my computer for sympathetic crossings, I need to remember to stand back so I don't hit my monitor.

So we all know daytime TV is lame.

I was watching a talk show where the host of the show induced panic attacks by following guests with phobia's around with their triggers. burning_eyes

That's actually quite tame compared to some Japanese game shows. 3nodding

But, yeah... I usually hate that kind of thing. It's like "Hey, look! Let's get a bunch of people (preferably with volatile personalities) together and torture them for the audience's amusement!" I believe this is how reality tv was born.

Like the one where they have a bunch of men lined up on machines, and they have to uh... I forget what it was, either say a tonguetwister correctly in the time allotted, or answer some kind of long and difficult question, and if they didn't, the machine would activate and smack 'em in the balls. Ow.

Well, considering the increasing likelihood of a writer's strike come November, depending on how long it continues, we may be flooded with reality TV in the winter/spring. confused

BANZAI FTW!

Same with Takeshi's Castle!

At least they know what they are getting into.

Some of these talk shows boarder on abuse.

The talk shows are bad. The thing that just made my jaw drop, though, was the Fox Reality series Solitary. Yes, theoretically, everyone "knew" what they were getting into, but it's been shown time and again that people underestimate how resilient they really are to outright psychological torture. Which is most of what that show is. *shudder*

That's my family's favorite show... creeps me right out.
I walked in while they were watching it once: "Why do those people have on ball gags...?"
I shut my door when they watch it now.

Agreed!
The safety procedures are so lax on those shows xD

Talk shows annoy me (but I watch then anyway rolleyes ). The worst one here is 'jeremy kyle' he literally just yells at people and calls them scum. Theres even a comedy show called 'vievienne vyle' and it's a parody of him.

There's been a shift from discussing community issues, to personal problems and attempts at aid, to Jerry Drama.

At least you know what you're going to see on Jerry Springer.

I have to wonder though- if someone asked you to be on that show, wouldn't you just sell everything to own and start a new life somewhere else away from anyone who could have possibly wanted to tell you something via Jerry Springer?!

Why anyone would actually want to air their dirty laundry on natonal TV is a mystery to me.

Gah >.< I was up until 3am yesterday and my monitor has gone all blurry too. Not good for spelling and grammar xD I just spelled 'entities' with about 5 'i's'. xp

For what it is worth- I habitually try to spell Spirit as "spearit". burning_eyes

Was it the Maury episode with the pickles girl, by any chance? ninja

I've been sticking to G4 and watching Ninja Warrior, Cops, and Cheaters...unless the Discovery Times channel has another one of their fantastic serial killer shows on. Then I'm all over that.
