[Kitsune Thistletree]

Kindlestar nodded. "Yes, you are right. No one would deserve better," she mewed. She then got up and looked at the Firesong. "You best get some rest, after all, silent vigil tonight," she smiled, looking at the two new warriors.

Firesong nodded sleepily. She walked back to her den, yawning. She curled up in her nest, letting herself doze off.

Kindlestar watched as the medicine cat left and got up and padded towards her den. She entered her nest and lay in it, her ears flattened as she curled herself up in a ball and fell asleep, the cool air of leaf fall ruffling her fur as it filtrated through her den.

Dawnlight sat in the middle of the clearing as the cats started to go to their dens to sleep. He gave Rabbitfoot a glance and blinked at her, excitement entering his paws as he shifted them happily.

(Morning?)

Thorngaze woke up in his soft nest, blinking twice to clear his vision. He yawned and padded out of the den. Even if it's early, Thorngaze was too hyper to be kept asleep.

Cloudyheart woke up to the early lights of morning. She licked each of her kit, almost like waking them up. "Time for me to get out of here for once." meowed Cloudyheart, with a chuckle. She padded out of the nursery, toward the fresh-kill pile thus is still full from last night's hunting.

Robinkit crawled around the nest, over her brothers, looking for her mother and her comfort and warmth. "Where's she?" she thought, opening her eyes and blinking. Robinkit followed the lights of morning, then backed away.

Kindlestar woke up and gave a small yawn. She lifted her head and felt the cool breeze as she got up and stretched her sore muscles. Sleeping alone had it's disadvantages in the colder moons, and she was starting to learn that the hard way. Giving a small sigh she padded out of her den and saw the two new warriors still awake and standing guard.

"Good morning, you two. It is all right, your night is over, and you have succeeded. Congratulations, and welcome to the life of a warrior," she mewed warmly at the two of them.

Dawnlight looked at the leader and stiffled a yawn. It wasn't the first time he had pulled an all nighter, and he wanted to prove that he could still be useful.

"What would you have us do today?" he growled at the leader, his eyes full of determination.

Warpaw opened his eyes and noticed that he must have fallen asleep benath the bush he was watching Sharpclaw from.

Sharpclaw sighed "What if I don't come back I don't want them to think I betrayed them,"Sharpclaw said still looking into the Firepond

Sparrowkit opened his eyes after. "I dunno." he said, still drowsy, respomding to his sibling's question.

Kindlestar looked at the determined look on the warrior's face and her whiskers twitched with amusement.

"Well, we have kits and queens to feed, so I want you both to go hunting. Dawnlight, you are in charge of this morning's hunting patrol. I believe that the two of you alone should be able to cope," she mewed.

Dawnlight nodded and puffed out his chest, proud of being the one in charge.

"Yes Kindlestar," he answered, before turning around and heading out of the camp, twitching his tail at Rabbitfoot for her to follow.

Firesong awoke and emerged from her den, whiskers twitching in amusement as she saw Dawnlight leave with the patrol.

Thrushkit grumbled as his siblings made noise. "it's too early..."

Kindlestar watched as the two warriors headed out and sighed. She knew she still had to go speak to Cursedstar, as PebbleClan hadn't shown up in the last Gathering, and she was not happy with how Diamondfur had sneaked into her territory and tried to cause trouble with Sorrowkit. She looked over to the nursery, knowing that Cloudyheart had had kits and that she hadn't gone over to properly congratulate her.

Her paws feeling heavy, Kindlestar padded towards the nursery, resolving to go to PebbleClan once she had spoken to Cloudyheart. She hadn't asked Firesong's opinion yet, but she figured that the medicine cat had enough in her own paws as to deal with the intrusion as well.

I have to take care of this one myself, or otherwise PebbleClan will just think that they own FireClan she thought, snarling.

Whisperkit crawled out of the abandoned rabbit den. She streched and yawned, then started to bathe. There was an uncomfortable empty feeling in her stomach. She started in a random direction, completely lost, then drew back in fright and disgust as she smelled an unfamiliar scent. It smelled unusual and... horrible. It had a hint of crowfood in it. She hurried back into the empty den, hunger forgotten.

((way to take care of kits. XD she has been gone since noon yesterday and no one has noticed? Wow, thats pretty sad.))

Firesong padded to the Nursery to check on Cloudyheart and the kits. She walked inside. "How's everyone this morning?......."As her eyes grazed over the kits, she came to a horrible realization. "Where's Whisperkit?"

Thrushkit's eyes shot open as he looked around. "Um, I dunno. I haven't seen her yet."

Robinkit glanced up at the cat with wide, round blue eyes. "Who's Whisperkit?" she asked, her head tilted in confusion.

Cloudyheart padded back into the nursery, worried about her kits. "What this about a missing kit...?" meowed Cloudyheart, her whiskers twitching; her eyes going over her kits, making sure that none were gone.

Thorngaze's ears flatted down as soon he saw Dawnlight and Rabbitfoot pad through the entrance of the camp. He had wished to go hunting with the rest of his siblings who were experts in fighting & hunting. "I'm now a medicine cat. Not a warrior." thought Thorngaze, shaking his head.

Firesong turned to Cloudyheart. "Whisperkit's not here...I'd better go track her down." Firesong rushed out of the nursery with a shout back to Cloudyheart, "Good Morning! There are some herbs to help with your strength next to your nest. And the kits look adorable!"

Kindlestar almost ran into Firesong as she ran out of the nursery. She tilted her head in confusion, wondering what the rush was, but decided that only StarClan knew what went through the mind of a medicine cat. She entered the nursery and saw Cloudyheart eating some herbs that Firesong had probably left for her.

"Good morning, Cloudyheart," she mewed, padding over to her and sitting close by, watching the new kits.
