[Kitsune Thistletree]

Kindlestar shook her head as she snapped out of her trance. She then stood up and looked around for Firesong. She glanced one more time at Blazewhisper and pressed her nose against his. "I'll see you later," she mewed, and padded out to find the medicine cat.

As it was, Firesong was very close by, she barely had to walk at all. She padded towards her and sat down. "I have news for you," she purred, sitting down in front of her.

Robinkit soon followed her brother, her eyes bright.

Firesong looked intently at the leader. "Okay, I'm all ears."

Thrushkit twitched. he knew what his ears were. this cat had just said she was made of them! He was suddenly very confused, wishing he could see. He rubbed desperately at his eyes, trying to open them.

"I have decided it is time to give Thornpaw his warrior name. He seems to be making excellent progress in his skills, and he is of age already," she mewed, hoping that the medicine cat agreed to this. "Also, there will be an important announcement during the ceremony, and I wish for your insight on it," she added, her ear giving an embarrassed twitch.

Firesong nodded. "yes, i agree. Dawnpaw and Thornpaw have both proven themselves worthy. And I'll definitely be listening at the ceremony. I couldn't skip out of this one, after all. Do i get to hear the announcement now, or will i have to wait like everyone else?" She purred good-naturedly, knowing that Kindlestar was a little frazzled.

Thrushkit finally got one of his eyes slightly open, and winced as air hit his eye for the first time. He couldn't see well out of it yet, but he noticed a shape or two moving around. He walked back to his mother and curled up to sleep. He'd finish dealing with his eyes in the morning, he decided.

Kindlestar licked her paw hastily and looked up at Firesong. "Well, let's just say that today, there will be a new deputy in FireClan," she purred, giving her chest gentle strokes to clean herself up for the ceremony.

Firesong nodded, wondering who it would be. It's about time...Kindlestar's been doing the work of 2 cats for far too long...

Sparrowkit yawned, and finally opened his eyes. "Mama?" he asked, looking at Cloudyheart.  

[Kitsune Thistletree]

Kindlestar got up and nodded at Firesong, indicating that it was time to start the ceremony. She padded towards the Fire Rock and gave one quick leap towards its top. She then called the familiar summons, this time, happy to be calling her Clan to a meeting.

"May all cats that are old enough to catch their own prey join me here under the Fire Rock for a Clan meeting."

Dawnpaw's ears perked up as he heard the leader calling them. He bounced to his paws and ran towards the clearing, placing himself up front for his naming.

(Thornpaw's a medicine cat though.)

Thornpaw padded to the small group, already gathered around the fire rock. "What would Kindlestar have to say?" thought Thornpaw, his ear twitching.

Robinkit watched over her shoulder at the brother who was running back into the nursery, blindly. "Just open your eyes, mouse-brain." she thought, licking her paw. Then she looked back at the gathered cats. "What's happening?"

Cloudyheart licked Thrushkit's fur, careful to not wake him up. Then turned back to look at her other son. "He looks so much like him..." she thought, purring. "What's it, Sparrowkit?" meowed Cloudyheart

Warpaw walked out of the apprentice den and streached

((Thank starclan, because sorrowkit's getting fed up with waiting, So anyway at school, having my study hall teacher as an Art teacher as well ROCKS she lets us work with clay EVERY tuesday, i'm making a clay figure of Sorrowkit with a little plauqe sauing her name.... although, Can you tell me what you would call Sorrowkit as a warrior now? Because i kinda want to write in her warrior name instead of 'Sorrowkit' Or 'Sorrowpaw' Because you can't really change it if it's already erm, finished?))
