Finished up my last night at Target a bit ago. My girls (and Jay xd ) threw me a little party in the break room, and compiled all of their favourite recipes for me as a gift. I can't wait to try them out!

I miss them all ready, though. emo
Congrats on the recipes.

Once you're in town, we'll do our best to distract you. 3nodding

Once again, it seems as if everyone is in the Northwest or West or overseas, and here I am stuck in Ohio for legal reasons. sad

Yeah, although I think Bob Hope was from Ohio. I know he performed in Ohio a lot. Hmmm..dont know of any good bands from Ohio. Marilyn Manson is not that good. Seatle has David Groele from Foo Fighters. Drums, guitar, and numerous other stuff. That is talented. I bet your chinese and Japanes food is better out there too. sad

Meh, food/sustinance/something in my stomach.

Not big on sandwiches, so when thats all you have...
What do you have? Give me a list. I like a challenge.

Some Ball Park Hot Dogs that I think are spoiled by now. Few bags of processed chedder and mozzerella cheese, Kraft Mac 'n Cheese, some Pop Corn, white bread, bacon, beef stock, chicken stock, some green onions, apples, some black beans, and some pasta noodles.

Ya, we need groceries. sweatdrop

We have Margerine, but we might have some stick butter. If not, I'll ask my parents to get some.

So here is what you do:

Boil up some water for your noodles- except use only half of the water and make the rest up with chicken stock. Follow the directions on the package.

Fry up some of the bacon (I like it crisp) and set it aside- sop up any leftover fat with a paper towel and set the pan back onto the stove top for the butter-like substance.

Take the butter-like substance (4T) and melt it in a frying pan on low heat. Don't scorch it.

Take some of the bread and set it in the oven at about 300 degrees. You're drying the bread- a little toasting is okay, but don't make it into charcoal.

Next add the garlic to your butter and allow that to cook for about thirty seconds before bringing the heat up to Med. and adding 4T of flour.

When the flour is the color of creamy peanut butter- a pale brown, slowly add milk bit by bit until you have a smooth sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.

Once the sauce is smooth, mix in the cheese til it is thick and smooth.

In a large cassarol dish, mix the cheese sauce, noodles and chopped bacon. Take the bread and turn it into crumbs (food processors work well, so do blenders or plastic bags).

Add 1T of butter to the crumbs and spread them over the pasta mixture and bake until golden brown on top.

Put the bread directly on the rack or on a baking sheet?

And thanks for this, I'll give it a try soon as I can figure out if I'm gonna catch hell for using the chicken stock.

It does. Unless you're in Southwest WA. I'd kill to move to PDX.

I don't doubt it.

I'm really intrigued by the "Not Yo' Mama Banana Bread," and the Oven Porcupines (which basically look like halupkis, sans cabbage).
