Firesong yawned, stretching as she sniffed the air. she caught a scent she hadn't picked up in many moons. "Robinfeather..." she thought, "you were here, and didn't talk to me...?" She looked at Sharpclaw, then decided not to wake her. Padding out of her den, she noticed that several cats were missing, including the leader and her own apprentice. "can't even keep track of my own apprentice these days...am i getting old?" she mumbled grumpily. And where's Dawnpaw? I certainly hope he's behaving himself, and not getting into more trouble...

Moonpaw turned around and ran back with everyone else, and only Sunpaw stayed.
Sunpaw waited untill her sister had left, and walked up to Kindlestar. "I swear it is true." Sunapw said sincerely. Than the appretnice ran after her clanmates.

Venomkit woke up with a little curiousity as to what was going on. The camp was unusually quiet even for that time of night.

He got up and gave himself a stretch before padding lazily outside, wondering if he could find someone else awake to see what was going on.

Kindlestar padded back into camp, ready for a good rest, when she remembered that she still had to talk to Sorrowkit. She gave a small sigh and opted to going to rest and taking care of that in the morning. As she headed towards her den, she noticed a small dark brown and white fluff ball heading out of the nursery, and saw that it was Venomkit. Her ear twitched with curiousity at seeing the young kit out, as his lazyness usually kept him in his nest.

"Isn't it a little late for a kit as young as you to be out of the nursery?" she asked him, her whiskers twitching with amusement.

Thornpaw padded through the entrance toward Firesong with marigold in his jaws. "I'm back, Firesong." mumbled Thornpaw, through the large clump of herbs.

"Curiousity got the best of me," Venomkit mewed, looking up at the small orange cat.

Kindlestar shook her head. "Well, things aren't safe tonight, so you best go back to your mother. All will be explained soon," she meowed, then headed on towards her den, hoping to finally get some rest.

Firesong nodded at Thornpaw. "Dawnpaw's not here. Is he staying out of trouble?" She wanted to know exactly what was going on, but decided she'd learn soon enough.

((Payback? I dunno what you is talking about. ninja PebbleClan and FireClan made a deal for that land. FireClan just found out it would give them some advantage as well is all. In any case, with the peace treaty the two of us have, I would not be surprised if FireClan ended up aiding PebbleClan. twisted

Kindlestar yawned as she closed her eyes and got ready for a good rest, her eyelids heavy and her body feeling as though if it had not properly rested for a moon.

I'm sure Blazewhisper and Dawnpaw will be back in the morning, and depending on their report is the fate of FireClan at the moment.

With that last thought she fell into a deep sleep.
