BlueRoseTorn patch99329 BlueRoseTorn PhantomPhoenix0 Well, my World's Religions class shall prove to be interesting. As part of my grade, I am required to visit a Hindu or Buddhist Temple, and a non-Christian "Western Religion" place of worship. Man, I wasn't required to do anything neat like that! Wish I had been--would've been fun. Same! biggrin I did have to write an essay about passover though!!! *fanfare, which quickly fades into silence...a baby cries in the distance* ... stare We got so snagged up in Hinduism, that we didn't even get to Taoism or Confucianism. I really wanted to get a good hold on the former, especially. Maybe at my next school.
We've never even touched on buddhism sad

I think we spent a whole two weeks on it. I got more of a taste of it in my philosophy of death class, since we were covering views on the process of dying and actual burial.
Damn, it's weird to not be going back to school in a week. I really wish I could.

Haha swap? The year thats just passed has possibly been the hardest yet. This year invloves lots of exams, but last year was coursework >.< It just takes up your entire life and all that keeps you going is 'it'll be worth it'. But I've spent all holiday doing a 30 or so page case study for geography and I want to be forensic scientist...worth it? Most likely not xD Unless forensics involves spearmans rank and land use models..

TeaDidikai BlueRoseTorn Sounds fun. Hopefully we'll get along swimmingly. Don't see why we wouldn't. I'm not sure if I should introduce you to the local Asatru or not. They're fun- but a fair portion are a bit "Kookie".
Pfft. The Asatruar friend I mention is more than kookie--moreso now that she's gone through pregnancy.
And...well...if you met my extended family, you'd see that I grew up around various kinds of kookie. sweatdrop

Some have more merit in my eyes than others- but even so, there are some more interesting folks to hang out with in the area. 3nodding
Sadly, one can never escape the drama. I've been finding that out over here.
But I'm so so so excited. Two weeks and two days until I fly out. heart
And now, sleep. The day-star frightens me.

Our move-in date's looking to be the 14th or 15th, so hopefully a few days after then. I got the transfer to the Kent Target, but I still need to work out my schedule with them. I'll keep you posted.
