Honestly, I prefer my men with no longer than shoulder-length hair. There are few exceptions, but the ones with longer hair tend to fall under my "Were I drunk enough, I could actually mistake you for female" category, not my "Definitely male, still yummylicious" category.
Pish. If a guy doesn't have hair longer than I do...

Anyway. It isn't hard to point an examples of my idea men. Bishi, long white hair, Enneagram 8's. ~swoons~ Oh Sesshomaru.... rofl

Bishonen pretty much is the "Were I drunk enough" category. Of course, that's also the "you might break my rule on only admiring the art and not pouncing it" category.

And I will so fight you for Sesshomaru. Super Soakers at 10 paces. First one to complain about chafing loses.

As if. I'll wire my own jaw shut before I cost myself a chance at Sesshomaru. twisted

Although, I do have an exception to the white hair rule. Jin from SC works as well.

Actually- I think the only common theme to the men I am attracted to is that they are all E8 with 5 lines.

Women? Have to be 7's or 2's. Either I am racing to keep up or I need to be pampered.

Enneagram 8's.

The Enneagram is an approach to psychology using a nine pointed figure to represent the progression of experience between nine different personality types.

Saying that I like 8's is just further proof that Reagun's idea of my overall personality is slightly... off.

Like every system, it has it’s pros and cons. The different ideas of “healthy” and “unhealthy” don’t really make a whole lot of sense, and a number of the types in different “levels” of health mimic other types. (For example, Healthy 4’s look like Average 7’s.)

Since it is all based on this idea of transcending beyond the highest level of health- I find that the system is deficient and too strongly influenced by Eastern Metaphysics for my liking.

I tried the QUEST. sweatdrop It's, umm, not terribly accurate. I'll try the longer one tomorrow when I'll have more time.

I can see that.

Aesi>> Take the long one, the short one falls flat. Also note that 9's and 4's tend not to test accurately for different reasons.

The Enneagram Type Indicator Sampler Results
(RHETI Version 2.0)
Questionnaire Date: 6/28/2006 6:27:06 PM

The following numerical scores are calculated from your answers to the Sampler questionnaire. The highest score in any type is 8.

Type 1: 4
Type 2: 4
Type 3: 6
Type 4: 4
Type 5: 5
Type 6: 2
Type 7: 4
Type 8: 4
Type 9: 3

Hmm, I wouldn't think of myself as an Achiever sort. What others think of me is of little concern to me, I generally avoid direct competition, and I'm too blunt to be charming. However, I like 8 and 4. Somewhere between them is the person I want to be.

*learned something new today*

Interesting test. The answers were tricky, though, because sometimes I fell into both options, and it was difficult to choose. I'm sure the tests you can purchase are more thorough...but I'm saving my monies right now.

Type 1: 5
Type 2: 3
Type 3: 2
Type 4: 5
Type 5: 4
Type 6: 4
Type 7: 6
Type 8: 5
Type 9: 2

The test seems accurate--seven fits me well, especially with the negatives (impatient, impulsive, easily-distracted, scatter-brained... sweatdrop ). I thought I would end up an eight, though. Interesting. Very interesting. *drums fingers together*

I'll make a mental note to shell out the $10 to take the full test...eventually.

Really? I don't, not with my online persona sometimes.

I think I'm more of an unhealthy 9 though

See, now- I would tend to put you on the healthier side of Nines.
It's also not shocking because as a whole, I personally don't get along with most of the female population. You're easy for me to talk to and even when we disagree- we still get along.

4's on the other hand... The person who introduced me to the Enneagram used to joke that the best way to tell if someone was a four was to lock them in a room with me. If I staggered out five hours later covered in blood and they didn't stagger out at all- they had been a four.

Oddly enough- I married a four.

Aesi>> Actually- Type 3 is "somewhere between" 8 and 4. Eights set their own path. Something 3's have in spades. Fours look towards creativity and having a strong sense of personal identity that is crafted carefully.

To anyone who wants to take the full test- save your money and buy the book. You can get it online and save five dollars on average- plus, you can let your friends use the book and save them some cash too.

I have low self-esteem, I ususally see myself as unhealthy on these things. I'm also an INFP, I wonder how well those coordinate.

Now THERE'S a compliment. I gotta get my a** out to meet you.

Is anyone actually surprised that I'm an Enneagram 5?

eek Heh. I'm not so good at reading into things, so I hadn't noticed. Makes me happy, though.

EDIT: Of course, it would help me read into things if I read more than just little blurb in my results. After reconsidering, 3 sounds a great deal like me.
