AntoniaMerEnfant (goes down the list) @Bakura- Christy that sounds pretty scary, but hang in there. I'll say a prayer for you. Remember that finding out the problem is one step closer to making you feel better. @Fox- eeeps, sorry to hear about your manager, is that the one that was trying to help you get promoted? @Chiwarrior- That is a horrible, horrible ploy. I have not noticed that yet. @Headhunter- I still crack up every time I see that movie. A few weeks back we did inventory at a JC Penny's and we had this crazy District Manager from our company's STL branch. Well the manager was running around singing "Happy Inventory! Happy Inventory!" I told one of my coworkers he reminded me of the flamboyant guy in the control tower "There's a sale at Penny's!" It's just one of their evil scheme's for world domination...yet another rival...but it's just a funny thing to comment on.
I did notice your post in the glitchs thread concerning tickets on black jack? I didn't notice any reply's but you should still get your winnings. I've had that bit of bad luck befall me a few times.

Bakura Amane For anyone who was/is following my health-life, I have an update (or something kind of close to one). I went to the doctor today and we don't exactly know yet what is wrong, medically, with me. He's put me on birth control pills (this makes the second time I've been put on them), I have to see him in 3 months and follow up on this; also some time between now and tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon I'm supposed to make an appointment to get a sonogram to make sure I don't have polysistic (spelling?) ovaries. We did this test once before in 2004, but nothing showed up; we will try again and see what -- if anything-- shows up this time!
So, I have to call my health insurance and find out why it was cancelled; call the diabetic doctor and make sure it's fine to be taking the birth control meds; and lastly make the appointment to get a sonogram. sweatdrop Soo much work and stress!
I'd actually been wondering if PCOS might be one of your problems. It makes it really hard to lose weight, messes with your insulin (a lot) and causes a myriad of other problems. I have it too, and it's not really that big a deal, but yet it is, you know? There's lots of helpful information out there, and medications to control it. I was on metformin for a while, but I quit taking it when husband almost died last year cuz the money was better spent on his medicines. It's the reason that I can't conceive without medical intervention. We can talk more about it if that's what you're diagnosed with. smile

And thanks to everyone who thought about/prayed for me this morning. Results came back this afternoon (actually about 15 minutes or so ago). In my opinion it's not good, but it isn't terrible either I guess. It's TOLERABLE as I'll say. I found out that one of my ovaries DOES have a cyst and they had put me on birth control meds to help out; I have to go back in 3 months for a recheck both with the sonogram AND the doctor. At least it isn't something horribly wrong and there's no cure or treatment available. 3nodding

Punk Fox TH Bakura Amane On a lighter note: Anyone have any ideas as to which "camp" they're going to join in Gaia's summer camp game/event? I had thought about going to the Rich Camp, but now I'm not so sure. Already in science camp. As to my manager: yeah, he was the one my store manager was plying. Oddly, him moving out put me on the fast track to promotion. I'll be in training in weeks, in my own store in weeks to months. Scary thought.
The upside to the downside?

Understandable, discomfort and pain are never desirable but--- when you know it's not life threatening it's definitely a relief.
Evil- what does PCOS stand for, forgive my ignorance. sweatdrop
On a lighter note I haven't picked a camp yet. Rich camp doesn't sound appealing to me, ya know? Looks kind of snobby. For some odd reason Juvie camp sounds interesting. I wonder what sort of items each camp gets.

Pretty much. And I found out that my DM was laid off, not fired. So not really his fault, they just reapportioned districts.
