Kindlestar reached the edge, Dawnpaw, Thornpaw and Blazewhisper already there, apparently talking. She noticed Thornpaw looked like he was about to rip the heart out of his brother, and Blazewhisper was looking at her apprentice with compassion as Dawnpaw stood, his tail bristling. A low growl rumbled in her throat as she saw the apprentice, but she merely walked up to where Blazewhisper stood and looked at the warrior, her eyes demanding an explanation.

Dawnpaw saw Kindlestar approaching and shrank back some more. He had not been expecting for the leader to find out about this so soon.

Firesong must be furious... he thought, giving a sideways glance at the medicine cat before looking down at his paws.

Firesong spoke with worry and compassion in her voice, "Are you alright, Dawnpaw?" She tried to reassure her apprentice, placing her tail comfortingly over his shoulder.

Dawnpaw looked up at the medicine cat, and he backed away a little, his chin wet with his own saliva, anxiety clear in his eyes. "Doesn't matter now does it? Why should it? You come to kill me, don't you?" he yowled.

Kindlestar's ears flattened. At first she had thought that Dawnpaw had merely attacked the medicine cat, but his eyes were mad, and he seemed to not be his usual arrogant self, but paranoid beyond belief.

"No... FireClan does not kill without need. We want to hear what happened back there. Firesong clearly forgives you, and I trust her judgement," she mewed, placing one paw forward.

Firesong nodded agreeably. "More that anything else, we are worried about you. We want to help, so we need to know exactly what happened. I only know what i saw, and that isn't enough for me." She purred comfortingly, trying to help Dawnpaw relax.

Dawnpaw shifted his paws. He felt confused and dizzy. How could he explain why he had attacked Firesong when he had no idea himself. He shook his head violently, trying to clear his head, but only managed to get a headache. He backed away some more, feeling the ground beneath him tremble. He could hear someone laughing and taunting him.

"Shut up!!! Shut up mossball!!!" he yowled, rearing up and collapsing on the ground, his tongue lolling out of his mouth, his eyes closed.

Kindlestar's eyes grew wide as she saw the cat arguing with himself. She saw him collapse and ran up to him, sniffing him over in alarm. As angry as she was at the troublesome apprentice, she didn't wish him any harm. For a moment, she wondered if he was making an act to get away with what he had just done, but the drool soaking his chest made her think otherwise.

"Well, he isn't dead..." she muttered, wondering what in StarClan's name was going on.

Ghostclaw walked over to dew-pools body. "If no one is going to bury her. then i will." He said and he walked till he saw Kindlestar. "Can we please bury Dewpools body now? It just rotting over there..."

((Please follow the sequence. I know that Sorrowkit just said that Dewpool was rotting, but I also just said that we were just going to make pretend as though if you guys had already borrowed her. Not only that, but I am waaay out of camp... If you want, you can just forget the fact that I said that Dewpool is already buried, but if you are going to come talk to me, at least read what is going on. sweatdrop ))

Firesong shook herself. "Thornpaw, run back to camp and get some thyme. Dawnpaw needs to relax, he's far too riled up." She looked worried. "Dawnpaw, try to calm down. I'm sure you're confused right now, but getting upset is only going to make that worse. Why not just go through what happened? Maybe we can figure out the problem that way."

Thornpaw nodded. "I'll go get some." replied Thornpaw, jumping to his paws, dashing toward the camp. Soon after, he went into the medicine den to the herb supply. Thornpaw pawed a small pile of thyme toward his way, picking some pieces by his jaw. Whirling around, Thornpaw dashed back to Firesong, Kindlestar and Dawnpaw. Once he arrived, Thornpaw placed the thyme beside Dawnpaw, out of breath.

Firesong flashed a grateful look to Thornpaw.

"What happened?" asked Thornpaw, licking his white paw, unable to look at his brother.

Ashpaw creeped back into the camp. He hoped no one noticed that he had snuck out earlier.
