Brightkit shivered. It was so cold...
As rain began to pour, the kit darted behind a cat, a she-cat, a queen. She was young, maybe fifteen moons? She had that milky scent of milk on her, but where were her kits?
The tortoiseshell kit squirmed out behind the queen, and ran to a hollowed tree. Kits! she thought as she caught the scent. Three kits? "Hello?" she mewed as the rain poured heavier. "Hi." a small voice mewed. "Who is it?" Brightkit asked. "Stormkit." it mewed. "Why are you back so soon?" it then asked, and everything went black.

((nvm i read back) dovekit walked out of the nursery her eyes dropping because she was so tired , " Did i like forget to eat or something?" She mumbled to hersef as she let out a cat sneeze.

((*walks in eating icecream and looking guilty* ahem... er... hi guys... er... how's it... how's it going....? *awkward pause* so basically... I suck eggs. Sorry for not getting on in so long... burning_eyes ))

((holy fkajgjgklajglkajkl sorry abouts that... heehee... idk what's going on cuz this medicine cat is too lazy to read buuuuuuut I CAN SEE I AM NEEDED!! *jumps into RP wearing a cape*))

Angelwish hurried into the medicine den, "I'm so sorry I came as quickly as I could!! I was out searching for herbs and..." she instantly stopped talking as she saw Tigerkits limp body, she pushed all the other cats out of the way and started sniffing him, searching for all his wounds and quickly putting *insert correct medicines here* on each of his scratches and then re-applying cob-webs. "He's had poppy seeds already correct? I can see you all have handeled this very well... don't worry, he should be fine if he gets enough rest and doesn't take a turn for the worse." she looked down at the kit, troubled. "poor little mite... this is why kits should stay in camp..."

Lionflare watched Angelwish treat Tigerkit who was limp on the floor

Brightkit woke up, only to stare into the dark in her left eye. "My eye!" she squeaked. The kit turned her head to glance at her denmate, who seemed to hang into life with a thread.
"...Will you let him die?!" she wailed.

((oh bummer. Left body parts sure seem to be in an unfortunate situation today.))

"Hush" Angelwish mewed quietly to brightkit, "He won't die, but his left leg is horribly wounded..." she hurried over to treat Brightkit, examining her eye, "Oh dear..." she treated all her wounds and put webs over her eye, "Try to keep it closed... you won't be using it again I'm afraid... lie down and get some rest."
She hurried back over to Tigerkit, continuing to look him over with a troubled face. "Alright, everone out, the kits need their rest and I need to mix more herbs for their wounds."

(Haha! I know! I wouldn't want her to lose her right eye though...)

"Tigerkit..." she murmured. The she-kit flinched under the medicine cat's touch, but didn't say anything. Her once bright eyes, were now cloudy with grief.

Breezewind frowned at the kits. So younge...... She sighed and sat downin the middle of the clearing.

Lionflare sighed not wanting to leave Tigerkit but knew he had to listen to the medicine cat so he left the den tail and ears down.

Tigerkit's breathing was shallow as he lay limp.

Poppyleaf exited the den without a word, and then padded into the nursery. The queen gently brushed Sunkit's ear with her tail.
"Wake up," she meowed.

Brightkit slept peacefully, breathing in the mingled scents of herbs and Tigerkit.

Sunkit opened her eyes and mewed.

The queen purred, and nudged Sunkit's sister with her paw.
"You too wake up,"

Lionflare sat down outside the medicine cats den head,ears, and tail down.

Moonkit opened her eyes

Angelwish watched the two kits closely, troubled. Kits shouldn't have to go through pain like this... stupid little things should have stayed in camp. She sighed and licked Brightkits ear, "don't worry, you can still become a warrior... Tigerkit... Tigerkit too." she hessitated slightly but nodded her head, "yes you will both be fine, come now go to sleep, eat this poppy, it will help with the pain."
