I love the smell of progress in the evening. =D Haha.

Normally my parents can't, so that's why this novel is so special. There isn't anything too inappropriate in it, so it's really exciting! I dunno if my mum will actually read it, but it's worth a try.

It IS hard! This time I have references to little things, but luckily nothing explicit. My last NaNo novel had some incredibly explicit scenes that I think my mum might die reading! This time I have slightly younger characters, though, and luckily romance is a subplot in this novel. :3 It's makes it easier. Haha.

Hahaha yeah that's good. My dad would...I don't know what he would do. He knows I write gay fiction...he just doesn't acknowledge it xD He would be so shocked if he read my explict scenes, especially my threesome novel xD

Just a small update for me, but I thought I'd better show y'all that I'm not completely dead yet. :B I've been very very busy again recently, what with coming home for Easter and playing the catch-up game with people, y'know... So, I've not had chance to do anything much.

I've still got an essay to write, which I need to get started on asap if I want to get a decent grade, really (not to mention I'll enjoy being home more when I have less to do), and since arriving home over a week ago I've not read any of Gunmetal and Lace. Shockhorror! I know I've been a bad girl, but I do plan on doing some reading of that tonight, or at least over this week. I really want to get that damn proof ordered sharpish!

So, I have my essay to write, GaL to reread a final time, and a bunch of other stuff to do. I'm sorry if I'm not very active online while I do it!

Perfectly understandable! It's coming up to my exams so the guild will see less of me. My coursework does get in the way of writing, I know how you feel!

Another little update, just so you know I'm not dead... I was at home for a month, and whilst I finished my essay (with only a little time to spare) and did most of my reading for university, I didn't actually have any time to do any more reading for GaL. I think my brain is trying to tell me something, and I don't really fancy reading through it again. Not yet.

Perhaps I could just hope that I've not made any stupid errors, or missed them in the first edit, and just send off for the proof copy? It'll only be my mother reading it, and she'd probably not mind too much anyway... I should focus on just getting the proofcopy before the offer runs out and Mum doesn't have time to read it. gonk

In any case, I just want it out of the way now so I can focus on exams, and then get writing. I had an idea not long ago about what I could write over the summer, but now I'm torn between writing that, or re-reading the novels from my trilogy and writing the third one to finish it off. I hope I can get the motivation to do that! It would be nice to have the whole trilogy complete...

Anywho. I have stuff to do. I'll go do it. XD
