Gotta love Peter Jackson's old b-splatter movies... <3

I gotta say Gremlins 2 is a personal fav in my vast movie collection, I was jumping up and down in joy when I heard it was being released for dvd during this winter.

My other fav movies... Golly, the list is so long... xD;;;

I should just take a picture of all my movies and post it... I buy about 1-2 movies a month...

Gremlins 2 was okay, not as great as the first movie. I still giggle whenever I think of that electric chair moving along the stairs. xd

I think the 2nd movie is better due to the more comical nature, and of course much better and realistic puppets, it scares me since it's ALOT better than computer animations nowdays, if I saw a gremlin puppet in my house I'd s**t bricks! :'D

Sadly CGI has gotten to the point where it looks so "real" it looks awful and fake. Just look at the current slew of EA Sports games for example. gonk

Speaking of CGI:

Pixar's new title (Floating Away? Something of that gist) looks to be another wonderful title. Taking a 3D animation class has given me a new respect for what those guys do.

The other one, being made by some upstart group (The Battle for Terra) looks to be a load of trash from the trailers. However, it'll be worth going to see as it appears to have well animated dogfights.

For oldies I'd have to vote the great escape. with a wonderfulvariety of actors play britsh/aussie/american pilots playing french/ german works/officers/ whatever. plus it's semi sad ending makes me tear up everytime.

as for CGI... I've never been a big fan of "perfect" realism but there are certain scenes in game's/ movies that blew me away and times I've forgotten I was playing/watching a game/movie.

Sky Captain & The World of Tomorrow did a great job with CG backgrounds.

yes.. yes it was. but it helped with the grainy brown stuff that covered the film... trying to make it look old... plus those old robots reminded me of an old superman cartoon? like really old.... oh well.

Gotta agree with that, a certain scene with CGI that I love is when the robots go through the city, it gave me this weird but wonderful feeling in my gut. x3

HOLY MOTHER OF MARY
Star trek is cool! like really solid.... (( word of warning if your prone to seizures do not watch this movie)) but WOW

the ships contruction though was a little lacking.... 8 guns 1 missle launcher for like what 800+ crew?

Too many explosions. Too many Hollywood explosions at that.. mad

I liked the explosions... when they hit the ship! it made sense but apparently shields in the trekk universe are run on the power of imagination... at least as far as I can tell.... plus federation ships.... very poor design flaws.

Don't hate, it was a perfectly well rounded film. Didn't have as much gung-ho violence as Nemesis anyways.
