Who will you first play as?

well im going to have to say the witch docter because i like let my minons do my dirty work for me

Same here, I've only had two character go above lvl 90 and both were necromancers. mrgreen

What I like about the Witch Doctor is that he seems less reliant on his minions, while they seem useful, he still has interesting offensive attacks of his own. (Such as the Fire bomb)

ya but what i like alot is that you can give your minions some of your skill to make them stronger

I'll probably roll with a Witch Doctor for my first play through. I've always kinda liked the "odd ball" characters. o_x;

I can't wait to see what Blizz has up their sleeve for the 5th class. Blizzcon needs to get here faster. I want some serious D3 deets this time around. =D A release date would be awesome too. <.< But I'm not holding my breath for that one.

I'm still waiting for the fifth class in order to decide. If it's a physical ranged class (archer or whatever), I'll probably do that first. If not, then probably the Barbarian or Monk; I like the female versions of those characters a lot. 3nodding

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm or not... But, anyways I just like the fact that your character can a tell a little more about you... I mean in Diablo 2, any guy who wanted to spell cast had to run around as a scantily clad woman. rolleyes

It may be silly of me, but I could never get into playing any of the male characters in Diablo 2. They were great and all, but it ruined the immersion for me, which is why I stuck to the female classes.

That's why the ability to choose your character's gender is a huge selling point for me. It'll be nice to finally have female characters that don't just hang back and fling arrows or spells; really, that female Barbarian looks like she means business. razz

Before they'd revealed the Monk, I was leaning toward the Wizard, and still do.
I think Wizard will be my second overall, barring the fact that the 5th class might be more interesting to me, when they decide to announce it.

I am pretty confident the 5th class will be physical range, but it would be interesting if there were shape shifting within it's build as well. mrgreen

Even though it's likely not true to the lore, I've convinced myself that the female Barbarian is Charsi from D2. wink
