"yes i agree lets go" Dawnstar raced throught the forest and behind her was Darkwing and Sparrowpaw. they were hard on there paws until they stoped to check on the boreder between theres and FireClan. "lets refreash our scent markers er havent done them in a while."

Sparrowpaw nodded as she followed her mentor to renew the scent markings. "FireClan seem to be renewing these every day," she noted. The scent was strong.

Darkwing nodded and renewed one of the border markers, "They must be warning us, but I have no idea why." She said and walked over to another border marker.

Darkfang walked over to the fresh-kill and picked a plump vole and walked over to a shady spot in in the camp. "What to do today?" She asked herself.

Sparrowpaw nodded as she followed Darkwing to the other border marker and helped her renew it. "Should we report this to Dawnstar?" she asked.

Dawnstar waited for Darkwing and Sparrowpaw to renew the scent markes. she herd scuffiling in the bushes and she went into a hunting crouch. in a few hart beats she cought a mouse.

Sparrowpaw watched as her leader caught a mouse. "Nice catch, Dawnstar!" she said a little quietly. It was kind of awkward for an apprentice to say that to a leader.

"Nice catch, Dawnstar," Darkwing siad and walked over to her leader. "We've noticed that Fireclan has renewed their border a lot, but we don't know why. What should we do?" She waited for her leader to answer when she smelled a vole near by, a few fox lengths away it was digging for seeds under a tree. With a huge leap she pounced on the vole without it noticing her, and put its life to a stop.

Darkfang finished her vole and stood up, she saw that the fresh-kill pile was going low. "I'll go hunt!" And she ran out of the camp.

"great catch Darkwing!" Dawnstar meowed, "lets just leave them alone. we should wait until the gathering then lets see what they would have to say."

"FireClan stinks." Sparrowpaw hissed as the newly-renewed scent markers drifted into her scent glands. (pointless post)

"lets get back to camp." Dawnstar insisted. "we will have are our pile pritty full now."

"Alright," Sparrowpaw agreed as she picked up a plump mouse and trotted back to camp, relieved the mouse was now flooding her sense of smell instead of fireclan's scent markers.

Darkwing picked up her kill and walked back to the camp, she spotted her sister Darkfang hunting near by, but decided not to desturb her.
