I just reread Watership Down. Now I keep thinking about the generic sun and moon deities under the names of Frith and Inlé.

Oh dear.
Hey, I just watched that.
I thought that the mythology created for the rabbits was pretty cool, and the story was neat enough for me to put the book on hold.

I'm a bit confused; what do you mean by "generic Sun and Moon deities"?

I should read it again, it's been awhile.

From what I recall (been a while, mind you, but I loved both book and film) Frith is the sun, personified as a god and lifegiver by the rabbits. I don't remember Inle being diety, not in the way Frith was, but Inle was the term for the moon and also a symbol of death. The "black rabbit of Inle" was very definitively the Death figure in Lapine myth.

YES!
Davit, my fiancee, got into our first choice for school (and into the special ed major)!

I, am excited for him (visibly). He says, "I am happy! I'm just practical. They can still reject me if I don't do well on this math class."

I started applying for jobs back in Normal. The one I want is with Special Olympics, but I always feel underqualified for, well, everything. (It has its downsides, but doesn't everything?)

Good wishes and whatever extra you want to send along is quite nice. I could use it. Supposedly, I'm an adult now.

I made a batch of vegan blueberry muffins for my SO. He's not vegan, but he has horrible cholesterol, so he was told to avoid a lot of things, as much as possible. But anyway....I can hardly ever bake without doing something horrible to either myself, or the food I'm making. These muffins, however, turned out completely perfect. So much so that when my SO took them into work to share, his coworkers practically begged him to ask me to make another batch.

So, today, I'm making 24 blueberry muffins, and I'm actually enjoying the idea.

Certainly. Now, the recipe said it made about 18 standard sized muffins, but I was only about to get a dozen out of it, but that may just have been the size of my muffin pan. But, on to the recipe

Vegan Blueberry Muffins
- 1 1/2 cups Whole Wheat or Spelt Flour
- 1/2 cup Oatmeal, dry, ground
- 1 tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 pint Blueberries, frozen
- 3 Bananas
- 1 cup Raisins
- Apple Juice, as needed

Directions
-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
-Set out muffin pans and muffin cups
-Place flour in a mixing bowl
-Place oatmeal in blender, and run at high speed until finely chopped. Add to mixing bowl with flour.
-Add baking soda to mixing bowl, and mix well
-Place peeled bananas and the raisins in the blender, cover, and blend at high speed until smooth.
-Add frozen blueberries to the flour mixture, and mix well, making sure all berries are coated with flour.
-Add banana-raisin mixture and mix well. If dough is too stiff, add a little apple juice, but don't let it become too runny. You want it a little stiff.
-Immediately spoon dough into muffin cups, filling them about 2/3 full.
-Place pans in oven, and bake for about 30-35 minutes.

Now, they come off the paper much easier if you spray the cups first, and let the muffins cool before you eat them. Also, I had to bake them for the full 35 minutes, but that's because our oven sucks.
