Ian got in his car, upon receiving Dylan's text. Driving over, he smiled. When he got there, Ian opened the front door, stepping inside. "Hunny, I'm home!" He called out, imitating a married couple.

Dylan slowly sat up and stared at him. He threw a pillow at his head and laughed. "You're so corny..."

Ian puffed up his cheeks, releasing them a second later. "Yeah, but your the one with this corny guy." He looked over at Dylan, making sure he hadn't just assumed everything was better.

Dylan smiled softly. "Lucky me..." he murmured. Opening his arms, he motioned for Ian to come over to him.

Ian walked over to Dylan, kneeling to give him a hug. Laughing at his response, Ian casually replied, "No, lucky me."

Dylan laughed softly. He looked Ian in the eyes and kissed him. "What did you tell your dad?"

Ian kissed him back, gently, not wanting to hurt him. Pulling back, he felt his mood drop. "What do you think I told him? 'Yeah dad, I am gonna go hang out at my boyfriend's.'" Shaking his head, Ian sighed, "I told him I was going over to a friend's house."

Dylan patted the couch space next to him. He looked at him worriedly.

Ian was okay, a little frazzled, but okay. Sitting next to Dylan, Ian pulled his head onto his lap. "We need to clean this." He was referring to the cut, running his finger tip over it, Ian frowned. He hadn't meant to hit that hard, or at least, not to hit him at all.

Dylan grabbed his wrist and rolled up his hoodie sleeves. Seeing bruises on his arm, tears formed in his eyes. He slowly sat up and kissed each bruise softly.

"Dylan..." Ian warned, knowing that any second, his whole being would tense up, and he might do something he would regret. But, just feeling Dylan's lips, touch each part of his broken body, made Ian happy, it made him feel safe. "Please, don't cry." It sounded more like a plead than anything, he didn't want to see Dylan cry, unless it was over something good.

Dylan looked up at Ian. "Seeing these bruises just tears me apart.... knowing that your dad hates you for you...." He sighed, resting his head against Ian's chest.

Hearing what Dylan said, Ian felt instantly sad, and guarded. An automatic response came to his head, but seeing how far the last one had gotten, Ian shoved it back deep into his mind. "It's okay. I'm happy the way I am, so, eventually he'll come around." But when is eventually?

Dylan shook his head. "I don't think eventually will come...how long have you been openly gay?"

Ian bit his lip, a frown coming onto his face. This was the part he hated saying the most, the part that no matter what he did, would never change. "Since I was 12. I came out on my parent's anniversary, without meaning to of course." The frown still playing on his lips, Ian stopped, not knowing whether he should continue into what happened after or not.
