Well I was able to get Roses and Shadows into publishing on Lulu with the updated formatting .. but with Betrayal of Trust there were too many pages for the cost D= oddly enough that happened because the text always ended on an odd page so I had to put in double the amount of spacing pages to get the images and text on the odd pages again.. tch I had to sacrifice that to get into the $8.50 price -headdesk- I'm only making like $0.25 a book that way .. doi .. these little books aren't good

On the good point though, I have been able to get more on with the images for the collection. I really really want to get these done .. but I have to wait for the illustrations, which are dependant on me having some free time to work Dx that won't happen til either later this week or next week though..

Do you have to submit them on Lulu in double spacing or A5 format?

A5 format?
Um you don't have to submit double spacing .. though if you want to I suppose you could.
If you're publishing a book of a certain size then you have to submit the file to be compatable with that size though ..
(they have a formatting service, but I dunno how/if it costs)

Heh well I got The Shriver of Cheney Town back from the publisher, so 's accepted, yay!

I'm still waiting for the editor to get back Ghosts in Smoky Visions..
Funny, 's been 8, 7, 6, and hopefully 5 returned in that order xD;

I'm slowly getting the artwork done for the Rae & Danny Stories collections .. what gets done is up on the deviantart account shakkthi ..

Hm.. I got about half my shipment of The End of a Beginning from Xlibris.. 50 of the 100 ordered .. I'm gonna be in Publisher's Weekly as an ad .. hopefully I'll be getting more orders than the usual zero for my work
And I got a notice that Lulu shipped the ones I ordered for the second edition of Betrayal of Trust & Roses and Shadows ... =o
I'm working on the artwork for those two's collection .. I've got about eighteen of the fifty needed done ... @.o
I won't be able to do any writing until the artwork is done, sadly

Sweetness, last night I got back Mystery 05, Ghosts in Smoky Visions
And.. with that I got the second collection done as well =o so they're at the publisher's now waiting to be printed..

I'm still going along with the artwork for the Rae & Danny Collections.. slow going, but 's coming along

I have like a dozen pictures to go still .. @.o
I'm only doing like 3-4 images per book .. not repeating any of the previous ones really, though there are some remixes =o

Shoot I forgot to update here..
But heh yes, I have back Ghosts in Smoky Visions and There Are Walls Between Us .. so I only have to write two more in the Drag Shergi Mysteries and I'll have finished that ..
With the artwork for the Rae & Danny's Stories I have like 6 more to color .. the ones I have done are on http://shakkathi.deviantart.com .. which I've shifted the folders so one is for the Book Covers while the other is for random artwork whether interior illustrations or prep stuff ..
Speaking of artwork, for the big collection of the Drag Shergi Mysteries, I've decided to do additional artwork.. it'll probably be all black and white in the first place, but I dunno .. either way, I'll be doing some characters and scenery for each book to better illustrate it ..

For the last two days I've worked until about 7am >.o not getting much further on the projects though ..
I think that the covers might turn out pretty awesome..
Though building up everything separately is going to make it look a bit weird though .. -flails- Dx darn

The two series are done, or at least as much as I've wanted to do since I started five years ago.. only got the first published four years ago heh ..

Now I'm just waiting on the preview copies to arrive.. then I can accept and move on to finish the last two stories in the Drag Shergi Mysteries .. Hehe in the one right now I get to go back to blowing stuff up and beating up the villans.. xD; but I have to have some more plot, so I'll have to think of .. how to do that.. ah well ..
I have to get to bed, but I'm kinda not tired enough yet.. not a good thing, since I've got the book signing in about 5 hours.. and then there's a bunch of other errands I have to do as well Dx bah .. well bye now dears..
