Firesong pulled a cobweb from the thistle, her fur standing on end. Something was wrong. She gathered the thyme and cobwebs she'd collected and ran back to camp. She ran straight past Flakepaw without a glance, smelling the blood coming from her own den. She saw Thornpaw, who had wisely stopped the bleeding of the warrior with cobwebs, asleep. She looked at the injured warrior. Sprintsong! She noticed the bleeding had stopped and the warriors breathing was normal. She sighed in relief, beginning to gather the herbs to keep her wound from getting infected.

Sharpclaw walked back into camp and put some fresh-kill onto the pile and looked around.

((Awwww man! I missed like, five whole pages!! What's been goin on? I have an apprentice? Sweet!! twisted bwahahaha... and am i able to say i was attacked by an enemy cat....??))

Sprintsong rasped a breath, her cheast hurting. She opened her eyes into a squint. She groaned. The pain was horrible.. WHat had happened! She remebered fighting a badger and then... something came up behind her and attacked her! What WAS that scent.... She couldn't remeber at the moment...

Flakepaw turned his head to see Sprintsong open her eyes. She's awake thats good. he thaought

((Sure thing. I would have to contact Silverkit to see if she wants to be an apprentice already though, if that's okay with you. Unless you prefer contacting her yourself. Works either way. 3nodding As for Sprintsong, I don't see why not. However, how is it going to work? You remember the scent in the camp, or would you rather go to the next Gathering and remember there? Your choice. wink However, the discussion would probably take place in the Gathering, unless the Clan you choose doesn't show up, then we take things into our own paws. twisted ))

Kindlestar sniffed the ground, and her face twisted at the smell. It was badger, no doubt about it. She opened her mouth to speak but closed it again quickly, knowing Blazewhisper wanted Dawnpaw to answer.

Dawnpaw snarled as he was insulted. "I have a name you know?" he growled, following Kindlestar all the same and sniffing the ground. He twisted his face horribly just as Kindlestar had done and spat. "That smells horrible. What is it?" he asked, passing his paw over his nose.

Sprintsong rasped another breath. She tried to get up but her body screamed in pain. She coughed.

Streamkit left the medicine den.

Venomkit woke up feeling hungry. "I'm hungry," he yawned, getting up and stretching his legs, his yellow eyes scanning the nursery for food. Noticing no one had brought any fresh-kill into the nursery, he decided to go outside and get some for his own.

Firesong heard Sprintsongs cries. "Hey, I'm giving you some poppy seeds for the pain." She gave Sprintsong the poppy seeds and then gathered her marigold and burdock roots. Crushing them up, she made a wrapping for sprintsong's wounds. she thought about having thornkit help, but decided not to wake him. "How are you feeling, Sprintsong?"

As Venomkit padded towards the fresh-kill pile, he felt the scent of blood in the air. His ears flattened and his fur ruffled up in fear as the smell seemed to come from a cat, and it was close. He pressed his nose to the ground and sniffed his way to the medicine cat den, the stench of blood getting stronger. He stopped a little away, seeing an apprentice standing guard in front of the entrance. What's going on here? he thought to himself as he tried to get a bit closer.

Cloudyheart blinked as She sniffed the trail. "Badger?! Here?!" Thought Cloudyheart.

Thornpaw opened his eyes to see Firesong. "Firesong!"

Sprintsong chewed the poppy seeds slowly, swallowing them. "Hurt" She rasped.
