[Kitsune Thistletree]

Kindlestar's whiskers twitched with interest. There was no way she could ask Flamewind to take care of both of them, but she could however ask her to mentor one of the two kits, and see another warrior fitting for the other. Sharpclaw had always seemed interested in Silverkit, but she didn't know just how interested she would be in taking in such an old apprentice, as Silverkit was already in a good age to be a warrior like her sister, Opalheart. However, the deaf Lovekit would definitely be a challenge, one that she knew Flamewind would be up to.

"Well, you seem to have kept an eye on them as kits. Why not keep an eye on one of them as an apprentice. I will give you one moon to convince me that Lovekit is a worthy apprentice. If she still cannot follow your commands by the time that the moon is passed, then Lovekit will have to move out with the elders," she mewed, hoping this would not be the case.

Flamewind's face brightened. Y-you mean-" she stammered.

"I can mentor Lovekit?!??!?!"

The smile on Flamewind's face was huge. It was also real, which is rare for her.

Kindlestar nodded, glad to see the smile on her friend's face. Maybe this will be good for the two of them... she thought, for the first time feeling a genuine feeling of happiness at the fact that she was leader, and that she had been able to help a friend because of it. "I will hold the ceremony as soon as I can," she purred, getting up and heading towards the Fire Rock to announce yet another new apprentice. Her heart soared as she realized that it was the first time in a while that there had been so many apprentices named at once, and feeling as though maybe this was a blessing and a sign of good things to come.

[[who plays lovepaw???]] After the ceremony, Flamewind found herself with an apprentice. She could barely hold her excitement. She didn't care if Lovepaw was deaf, blind, or not handicapped at all, as long as she herself could help.

Turning to KindleStar, she smiled, and walked up to KindleStar. "Thank you so much, KindleStar!"  

[Kitsune Thistletree]

Kindlestar jumped down from the Fire Rock and padded over to Flamewind. She nodded at the warrior and purred. "I meant what I said up there, Flamewind... Do not pity her. If you see she is having trouble keeping up, push her foward. Do not make her rely on you, or else she will never learn.

"I understand," Flamewind said, near to tears with joy.

Flamewind stepped in front of Lovepaw. "Do you want to start training?" she asked, making sure to point toward her favorite hunting spot.

Kindlestar stared at the two for a bit before stretching and padding away. She wanted to check up on the rest of the camp, and she knew she hadn't been in the nursery for a while, so she decided to go there and see what the queens and kits were up to.

Streamkit walked out of the nursery, and looked up at the sky with her one good eye. She sniffed the air, and looked over at KindleStar. "Hello, myne leader! How isth you feel?" she said with a smile.

Kindlestar looked down at the young kit with a strange look on her face. She had never heard any cat speak so respectfully, much less a kit. "I feel just fine, youngster. How about you?" she asked the young kit with a purr. She was a strange one, but she couldn't help liking her.

((LMAO!!! YES!!! SHE BETTER STAY TALKING THAT WAY!!! rofl ))

Thornpaw nodded at Dawnpaw. "Yep! Apprentices!" mewed Thornkit. "Blazewhisper is your Mentor..Right?"

Sharpclaw looked down at Waterkit "Ok,what about you?"Sharpclaw asked.

Warkit walked around the nursery

Firesong purred happily. She was relieved to finally have an apprentice. She looked at Dawnpaw, and smiled, knowing that he would be a great warrior.
