So my friend Lori, Davit/nick and I watched Heros today. We saw the huge 300 trailer. We drooled, and I shouted at the TV.

Trailer: You shall die/dine in Hell!
Me: (shouting) They didn't have HELL!
Nick: Well, maybe they meant Hel.
Me: They aren't Norse.... Maybe if they had said Tartarus or Erebus or just plain Hades.
Lori: Yeah, but how many people are going to get Hades or Tartarus?
Me: I can see them, hmmm, HELL or that weird a** fish sauce?

At this point, Lori died of laughter.

Lori: I can just see the people in my town wondering what that fish sauce was!

I like them better sane, pretty, intelligent and less capable of inflicting long-term mental and emotional damage. Of course, in the real world such men don't actually exist.

Actually, I like them better slowly broiled over an open flame with a bit of butter and lemon, with possibly some salt. Sure, most of them probably deserve worse.

From what I have heard, it was spoken as the Spartans took their last breakfast.
As far as most of common usage of terms go in our culture, Hell carried the feel that was being looked for... a place not to ardently desire to go to, and one you go after you die.
Theatrically, I can't fault it, historicly it's a bit iffy.

Sorry. sweatdrop I've been particularly miserable, angry and awful these days.

Option two doesn't appeal to me. The thought of romantic involvement is utterly repulsive to me.

Option one is most likely. However, all of my closest friends are currently in couples. Thus the subsequent murderous rampage. Possibly with roses as weapons. 3nodding

I should probably stop with my horrendous bitterness now. I'm going back to my hag-dom. All you happy people have a wonderful Valentine's day.
