I'm off to work. My first day in the new job.
Didn't sleep a wink last night.

Bah, back when I was in the Army, I easily could crest into quadruple digits in a day.
Heh, if I could do just over a hundred in 2 minutes... not breaking a thousand a day meant I had that day off, or was busy being shot at. xd

However... that was years ago... and going from not a sit-up in over 3 months to a rather sizable number has left me cramped most unpleasantly. sweatdrop

So, the pros of the new job

  • Fantastic work environment
  • Colleagues who are more competent than me in every area, though none seem to be more competent in all of them, there's just someone who is more competent in a given field where I seem to be more relevant
  • Absolutely gorgeous computer, fantastic amount of ram, dual core processor, when I got in there was a fabulous 17 inch lcd panel. They took it away, though, and replaced it with a 20 inch widescreen.
  • Very nice colleagues
  • Fantastic pay
  • Share options

The cons

  • Not allowed install trillian which means no AIM, Y!, MSN or ICQ
  • High stress
  • High learning curve

Hubby is taking me here for Valentine's Day.
Then I get to go here for an afternoon.

With supper at the Key, and a show to follow..., I can't for the life of me figure out what I should wear!?

I fail at being Girly. crying
