Dawnkit's ear flicked as he heard Firesong call him. He narrowed his eyes, remembering the conversation he had just heard and flattened his ears. He opened his mouth to answer but noticed he had no idea where he was going. He shrugged and held his tail high, not wanting to show his slight crush of ego to the medicine cat or his brother.

"Doesn't matter," he grumbled, glaring at the medicine cat.

((Actually, Thornkit will have no problem having kits or whatnot. The rule only applies to female high rankers. Remember when Bluestar said that the deputy could not have kits yet Crookedstar and Firestar have kits no problem? It only applies because they cannot be brought down by being pregnant or having kits when duty calls. As for Lovekit attending gatherings and whatnot... I dunno how that is going to work. I mean, she is deaf. If you remember, in the books deaf kits do not turn into warriors cause they cannot hear orders or prey or enemies or anything really. xd ))

((True that true that. It's only the male leaders and deputies that are allowed to have kits. It's easy though, seeing as how it is forbidden, just don't do it. ninja I mean, let's face it, not only is it forbidden, she is also deaf, making it even more unlikely. sweatdrop ))

Firesong saw Dawnkit's reaction. That was odd....he's usually uppity and defiant, but not openly furious. She wondered what happened, but decided not to ask. Instead, "well, if your not busy, could you check on Lovekit for me? She should be sleeping in my den, but she has a tendancy to wander off, and since she can't hear, she could get hurt. Please?" She wasn't sure why Dawnkit decided to have an attitude now, but it seemed the best course of action to be nice. besides, being useful would prbably make him feel better.

Dawnkit sneered. "Taking care of the soundless wonder should be no problem," he relied, padding towards the nursery, his tail held high. Taking care of the kit would prove to Kindlestar that he was just a worthless troublemaker. He would make sure of it.

Well, at least he agreed...Firesong turned to Thornkit. "Okay, i need you to stick close, okay? and be alert for anything out of the ordinary." She slipped out of camp and into the plains outside. ((yes, Fireclan is grassland and moorland. Picture Windclan)) She headed up towards the Fire pond. that was always a good place to start.

((The one I am writting is pretty much Kindlestar's story. I really just write it in as similar a way as I can to the Erin Hunter style. 3nodding

And sure. However, Dawnkit is very mean and strong, so I really don't see how Lovekit could get him into trouble... except with him almost killing her. xd Dang... he really is starting to turn into a mini Tigerstar isn't he? eek ))
