"I hope so.." mewed Thornkit, Getting up. "I'm going to hunt more."

Lovekit yawned, she was getting sleepy from those herbs. She walked sleepily and ended up falling to the ground asleep........On Thornkit!

((Poor Thornkit she's really 'trying' to get his attention.))

"Lovekit! Wake up!" mewed Thornkit, pawing her head. He crawled out and looked at Lovekit.

Kindlestar opened her mouth to speak, but in that moment Dewpool entered and informed her of the fact that she was no longer no going to be deputy, and how she had an idea over who was going to be the next deputy. At this, Kindlestar's ears flattened and her eyes turned cold, quite unlike her usual happy go lucky disposition.

"I will be the one to choose the next deputy, Dewpool. I understand that you believe not to be fit for deputy, and I have to admit, I agree. Your constant kitting prevents you from fighting or taking up the duties of assigning patrols. However, as young as I am and as strange as my naming was, I have to remind you that I am leader, not you, and the one who chooses who has the trust and the ability to be the next deputy falls in my paws, Dewpool, not yours," she replied coolly. She and Dewpool had barely spoken ever since she had been kitted, and her naming as leader had not changed this. "I will announce a new deputy as soon as I evaluate everyone here," she finished, then she flicked her tail, dismissing her, not wanting her to listen to what she was going to talk to Cursedstar about.

Dawnkit placed his rabbit at the fresh kill pile. He yawned, and he realized he was starting to be a bit tired. He saw Waterkit some ways away and remembered what Kindlestar had told him earlier, of how he had almost brought disaster on his denmate. His ears flattened slightly as he spat, disliking the feeling of guilt that came with the memory. He padded proudly up to Waterkit and sat next to her and started cleaning his chest.

"Did you see the rabbit I brought?" he asked her nonchalantly, his eyes narrowed as he glared at her.

(( Jayflight, I am afraid that you cannot be the deputy here. I have considered many, and as you said, you are the PebbleClan medicine cat, meaning that you are not eligible as another Clan's deputy, just like I am not eligible as another Clan's deputy or medicine cat. Sorry. ninja I dunno who is going to be elected yet though. As said earlier, me and Patchstar and talking things up. ninja ))

Firesong sighed. She found Lovekit. "Sorry thornkit, the herbs made her sleepy. So, how are you doing?" She would carry Lovekit back to the den in a moment. She wanted to find out more about this kit.

"I'm Fine, Hunting. Sometimes, I can't catch prey But I get a good amount of prey." mewed Thornkit. "Hey Dawnkit, Lets go hunt some more."

Firesong picked up Lovekit and carried her back to the den. So, Thornkit was enthusiastic? She wondered how long that would last once their luck turned. Leaving Lovekit in the den, she headed back out, unsure if she should leave camp to search for herbs.

Dawnkit flicked his ear as he heard his brother calling him. He thought about hunting, but decided he was too tired after the days events. That, and he wanted to find out what Shortstar was talking about with the PebbleClan leader. He had seen Dewpool enter the den and wondered why were there so many cats inside the leader's den. What could be so important that there was a private meeting in there. He resolved to spy on them. Hopefully he wouldn't be discovered.

"Not right now. I'm getting tired. Maybe I'll call it a night and go to sleep," he called out to Thornkit, giving a huge yawn and smacking his lips pointedly.

Firesong couldn't believe her ears! Dawnkit was just going to sleep? Maybe he was actually feeling the effects of Kindlestar's punishment. Maybe he'd learn something. She had a feeling she was being too optimistic.

"Fine." mewed Thornkit, Narrowing his eyes. He didn't want to hunt but He had to prove himself. Somehow..

Firesong thought of the lack of herbs in her den and decided. she had to go collect them. But she nedded a lot of herbs, and couldn't possibly collect them all by herself. She padded over to Kindlestar's den, calling loudly. "kindlestar, may i ask a quick question?" She didn't want to walk in on a private discussion.

Dawnkit flicked his ear and headed inside the nursery. He searched around, knowing there was a hole in one of the walls he could sneak out through. He finally found it and poked his head out, sniffing the air and looking around to see if anyone could see him.

"Ughh..I'm Bored." mewed Thornkit. He didn't want to hunt. Anyway, He already got some prey.
